BTW is he a english bulldog or white boxer? |
Its a She :D, She is a albino boxer, she is no longer a pup, but still acts like one at 2 years of age.

Its a sweet one, didnt you find some similarity to the Monalisa original except where the subject is looking. Around the subject is darkened similar to the select > feather > fill etc. ? Or is it a bright day with spot metering ?
:thumbs up
@shaju
Bright day, spot metering, shot with grass in the foreground thats gone out of focus. Very minimal pp, just to take the color off. I have one with the subject looking at the camera too. Will post after i process it.

TG.

The passenger in front is TG :) and the entire image is a reflection.
The mirror is the side rear view mirror. I focused on my lady, which made my reflection out of focus.
A less confusing one now. One of my favorite portraits that I ever clicked. Attachment 391625

Now I got it, nice portrait.
I tried my hands on portait, my wife and son. I don't know PP, so its a actual image.

Nice thread - One suggestion.
Whoever posts a pic.. please also include the Camera make/model specifications being used.
In case of DLSR's even the settings might be helpful if any.
Also please update in case the pic was touched up using an Image editor Or right off the camera.

Clevermax,
That's an awesome shot sir. How do you get that mist in your shots? I love that kind of feel.

@HW: Macro fever Nice shot.
Here is my new ride. Took it to small mountain today, did some action, was missing my behalf she could have taken photos doing me action. Attachment 391031 |
Indeed, a macro fever. Realizing that's what I want to do in the long run :). As far as your shot goes, I wouldn't have included so much foreground (negative space) and would have brought more attention to your ride.

Lovely shot TG. It's amazing how you get so much right out of the camera. Most of the time, I am even unable to visualize the metering, may be time to read up on zone system properly.

Well, most photographs on this thread are touched upon by an Image editor. As far as the rest of the details go, I am not sure if that'd help. It'll only make the un-initiated ones undermine the effort put into every shot and might end up crediting the gear, which I am sure no photographer would appreciate :). Hope you get what I mean to say. And the settings are just settings, unless you were there and seen the scene, it's very difficult to make anything of the EXIF info.
P.S: Guys, I have been editing your posts to remove the smileys to adhere to two smileys per post rule. Hope you guys don't mind.
Monsoons in Malenadu, shot at bababudangiri.

HW, that violet flower is too cute, I failed to get them in focus, need to learn the focus stacking technique from you. I am still expecting 'the best' from last Sunday:).
Riju, if that concrete pillars and the support were not there, its like a master painting. Just a first impression opinion, no idea if that stands correct technically. If I knew to play around with PS tools, I would clone the foreground meadow filling the gap (mud patch) and remove the pillars and support in the water. Just my 2 cents !
Half way to Life !

Since we are talking portraits. The lighting in the restaurant gave it this typical tone.

Those pillars are what remains of a submerged well and I have no clue about cloning :) .

Thanks Hw. The mist that we see in that shot is real, as you can see that's created by the waves hitting the shore and rocks. Or is that some other effect you're talking about?
BTW, Beautiful shot of the purple flowers.
