D40 18-55 kit lens

Took this in lalbagh today.

Some of elements of Gir National Park. I had been there in Dec 2009 and its worth a visit. Fantastic birding opportunities with lots and lots of birds.

Lovely. All of Alleppey district looks the same, how to guess now ? Which CPL do you use ?

Pleasing sharpness, is it a macro lens ?

Good shots, that owl one is very rare, I would have walked around it and clicked atleast 20 times to get a satisfying composition. :thumbs up

Initial guess was Alappuzha (Aroor?). But on second thoughts, Karunagapally?

Its a Minolta 50mm Prime, Brilliantly sharp.

I used an old Hoya CPL.

It was shot in Changanacherry - Alappuzha road very near to Alappuzha. (I didn\'t go via NH47 till Alpy.

Oh yes, SH11. Remarkable resemblance of location to Rajesh Sir's snaps.

No sir.Its just the kit lens 18-55.

You guys seem to have gone all macro. :) Amazing shots. Loved the ones from Gir and the Kerala countryside. Keep 'em coming.
