@Srasania.. Just one question, supposing i quit from the game to main menu of game, there is no option of exit (like exit to windows in PC games), so that i can exit to the main Xbox screen.. so that i can switch it off safely.. is there any way?, or i can just switch off the console in the main screen of the game itself?.. query no. 2: I have to restart the system (switch off and back on) to play any pirated game otherwise it showes that disc not readable or not dvd if i straight away just change the dvds.. Is it normal?
Hi dceite..hope you're enjoying your new console !
1. You can switch off the console after you're on the main game menu screen..no harm..infact,it's the normal way to switch off the console after playing a game..
2.Yes,even I have to restart my system when I want to play another pirated game..but for my original games,I don't need to restart the system..for original games,I just exit to the main game menu screen, then eject the DVD,and insert the new original game..it works fine.
For playing pirated games, when I switch on the XBox,I have to keep the power on button pressed for 2 seconds, for the XBox to go into modchip game playable state..(the light around eject button glows orange, and not green in the modchip active state)
I have the Alladin Mod-Chip fitted in my XBox..
btw - you got it at a pretty good price !..enjoy !..

I have an modded XBOX too, got it for 12k last year, so you got a really good deal. However one problem with xbox is that I cant go online and play with pirated games, and with real games too, it needs a XBOX live pin and ****, is there any workaround for that?

Running price of PS2!!

I'v decided to go in for a PS2, to improve my driving skills through semi-simulation games such as GT4 and NFS5.

The PS2 costs 8.8K in Hubli but i saw one off the news channels mentioning 7K for a PS2 as of this week.

Any idea what the actual price is?

What accesories shud i be expecting with the console? Does it come with 1 complimentary game?

Shantanu current prices in Delhi Grey market are around 7-7.5k. The only accessories provided are one remote control and you have to buy the other one (Rs. 300/-) & also a memory card (Rs. 400/-) which is a must.

And go for the PS2 if only for the sake of GT4 since it is the BEST driving game available today! The level of realism is actually shocking.

Correct if I am wrong guys... The PS2s in the grey market has the so called "convertor chip", this allows you to play the cheaper(Copies) Gaming DVDs that you get in the market.

It makes more sense to buy those shops only if you don't want to spend the money on the original DVDs, which are atleast 10 - 15times costlier.

The PS3 will be officially priced at 700 $ in North America. But it is backwards compatible, i.e. you'll be able to play all your PS and PS2 games.

Shan, Forget the 2nd controller. Get yourself a steering wheel with a gear stick and pedals and you'll get soooooo much closer to the real driving pleasure. I would strongly recommend it and its not even that expensive, i can get basic ones (branded) for abt 29 euros here. They really are worthwhile on games like Gran turismo!

By "setting up" do you mean positioning the pedals and the wheel in a normal position by using a table/stool or do you mean calibrating the controls? calibrating shouldn't be too hard but it does take a bit of time but only needs to be done once. Setting up a table and chair might be a hassle but man it really is worth it!

Get the Momo steering wheel made specifically for GT 4. It has a proper 2.6 turns lock to lock steering wheel and a sweet stick shift with all the 3 pedals (of course). My buddy has it here and it cost him about 200 $.
