The new Firefox 3.6 has been released. However, it seems that the IE tab does not work in Firefox 3.6. Check this, and if it does not work, and this tab seems important to you, perhaps uninstall the update.

In fact, have been using Minefield (by Firefox) for the last 2 days, and it seems to be even faster. Minefield is under development with full support by Mozilla/.

Me Using Chrome

For last one year or so i am using google chrome, i like its uncluttered interface. It seems faster than Internet explorer.
It seems Team bhp members are firefox majority.
I remember using firefox long back, dont know why i changed to Internet explorer that time, maybe system had chrashed and i started using the default IE.

Huge Fan of opera. Have been using it since the last 5 years even before it was free. Very userfriendly. Most of opera features are now replicated on other browsers but still it rules for me.

Totally agree. Even I had been using it for the last 5 odd years. But some how of late I am seeing, it seems to be hogging lot of memory. Not sure why?

For the time being I am on to Firefox 3.5.

i use chrome for the personal browsing and usage. it feels light. i especially like its restoring the last opened web pages. helps me a lot as i daily open around 8-10 web sites regularly (like team-bhp, xbhp, review sites, networking sites) and they remain open till i log-off.

PS: is there any way we can set a password to open the browser as such. with all the other sites having the 'remember' option checked it would be easy to manage that way on a pc.

help!

does anybody know how to avoid the automatic prefix of computer name as domain name in IE8. I have WIn 7 which will not allow me to instal IE7 or lower. and the intranet site I am accessing does not like domain name, nor does it work on firefox.

As a Mac user, I can confidently say that Safari is one of the best.
Its really fast and you get the joy of working on a Mac.

I'm not too sure about the Safari version for Windows. I used it a couple of times but did not like it as much as Chrome.

Chrome for Mac is also very good but needs a little work from Google to stabilize it fully.

It seems to work for me. I don't know if there any specific issues with any specific site, but in general, it is working fine for me.

As far as Chrome goes, I wouldn't even think of using it till it has equivalent of Firefox Adblock. Firefox extensions make it way much more powerful compared to other browsers.
