Can you please tell the approx price for this one ?

Edit: is it wall mountable ?
I bought it for 14.5K.
No it has no wall mount but comes with an adjustable stand. Please download the PDF brochure. http://www.lg.com/in/download/manual...ner-Manual.pdf
to get details of what all is there.

An upgraded version is M237WAP, which is 18K.

hello all,
279 pages on flat panels sure means loads of data information hidden in here.
However I need a very specific advice hence mods pls pardon me if I a digging some old discussion back.
I am currently sailing and expected to proceed to leave somewhere end of december / 1st week january 11 from Fujairah (emirate close to Dubai) enroute Dubai. I have planned for 40 inch LCD this time. On the limited net connectivity provided to us, i find cheapest in Dubai offering Sony KLV40EX400 (@900USD + PS2 free), I think some Jumbo, So hoping to cut deal @ 650USD- for TV only.
What I want to know is that DuabiSHopping festival w'd start from 20th January and how much the price for same TV w'd drop then if anyone has any DSF experience.
I am more inclined to pay customs (than any other ALTERNATIVE) on arrival coz even then any LCD w'd be cheaper. I am finding MRP for same in india is 65000/-.
So pls any word on DSF discounts avg in percent?
Rgds.

Hi guys,
Need opinion on using external stabilizer with an LCD TV.

I bought a 32 inches Sony Bravia last week. Is it advisable to use external stabilizer with an LCD TV? I’m gone use this in Chennai, and there is voltage fluctuation problem (not always) in my area – Madipakkam.

Reason for asking is I have a Whirlpool refrigerator which doesn’t work with an additional external stabilizer. The sticker pasted on refrigerator says it has internal voltage stabilizer.
Anyone using LCD/LED TV with external voltage stabilizer, enlighten me guys.

Regards,
Imran

For 32" LCD - VGUARD DIGITAL 100 (600VA model)is suggested. It comes in bigger/double power model (Digital 200), may be overkill for your usage. Also there is something from APC, last year this was not in Indian Market. But they have something. Please search for it. Then make your choice.

Most of the TV/Monitors sold have a wide input range, generally 110-240V capability. So you may only need a high voltage protection device, to prevent high voltage spikes. Please go through the TV manual to get the exact voltage range.

I guess you will be flamed enough by others for considering Sony. ;-D

I got Sony BX300 from Croma two weeks ago, plus one wire sony headphone free. The offer was either to choose sony headphone or 4GB pendrive with sony TV. Before buying from Croma even I checked at Adishwar, but they were not ready to give headphone with BX300.
BX300 has FM whereas EX300 has some light adjustment technology (sorry can't remember the technical term). Sony USB can run movie only in AVI format, no other format supports.

I suggest go for Sony.

Went and had a look at the Pana 42V20D Plasma. Rs 65,100/- all inclusive - transport, fitting (wall mounting) and configuring.

Place: Panasonic Showroom, Koramangala.

Is this a good deal? I havent visited any of the other multibrand dealers. I always feel they are a bit cocky and a pain to deal with once the money is paid. Bad experiences with Adishwars and Pai.

A Stabilizer is not really useful unless you have real problems with voltage fluctuations in your area. It will be much more useful to have a UPS, preferable from reputed vendors such as APC. Avoid V-Guard if you can...

+1 to that.
With a UPS you can also run the Set Top Box (Satellite or cable). APC has a range of suitable small UPS.
