Well, probably wont be a hugely noticable difference between 720p and 1080p on any mid sized TV --- what we gotta do is get our hands on a high res DLP projector and some GT5 !!!
Thats true, most of the youtube GT5 vids that have been posted, are being played using a digital projector.

My TV shows input for this game is 1080p, and the results are visibly terrific. It is VERY VERY realistic and on some circuits you can even feel the banking or slopes very well.

I'm forced to drive a very red Mini Cooper S that my son bought with his initial outlay of $30k. Not very fun.

To paraphrase Shan2anu's signature:

"It just doesn't feel right to have a PS3 and a copy of GT5P but not have your Plasma delivered to you on time"

U think it's gonna end once you get your plasma?

Here's something to add to your "It doesn't feel right" list. LOL

I just couldn't wait!!! Got me a Sharp Aquos 32'' as a stand-by unit. THe plasma can take it's own sweet time to get delivered..

The game is installing right now. My hands are trembling..

p.s.: I heard that there is an update available for GT5P? Is it applicable to my edition as well??

Data loss does not occur in any case. You can update through pen-drive or through WiFi/LAN access.

If price is not an issue, then the G25 anyday. The driving force has some limitations like the gear knob is fixed on the right hand side, there's no clutch pedal, no H pattern shifter, finish is not as good as the G25.

Infact competition for the G25 comes from a company called Fanatec. Their Porsche 911 wheel is supposed to be better than G25.

It's recommended on GTPlanet that you upgrade firmware from the region's website from where you bought the PS3.
