motos are a bit delicate. otherwise the phone should be ok for a second one.

I got the E6. its ok. Slows down a lot once loaded. pain to sms. caller quality not the best. Positives are the touchscreen interface, normal headphone plug, slim size.

Mine has not.Not one bit.Remove the original songs that came loaded with the phone.they are DRM protected and slow down the music player.

As for the SMS,you will get used to it.

Hey Guys,

Need some suggestions on what cellphone to buy. My current Motorola L7 SLVR is two years old and is getting a wee bit erratic. I like the form factor of my phone as it is thin and a tactlie pleasure due to great build quality.

I would like something similar in terms of design and slimness. These are my other requirments:
1) Budget - Rs. 15,000
2) Features - Phone \ Sync to Outlook for contacts \ Calendar and IMAP Email.
3) QWERTY Keyboard for Text and Email \ Touch input is another possibility as long as it is not stylus induced. I hate T9 text so that would rule out 12 digit key pads.
4) Don't care for the camera - I have never used it on any of my previous phones
5) Bluetooth \ GPRS \ 3G would be nice but I don't really care too much about this since I don't think many service providers in India have a 3G Network.
6) OS - Windows 6.0 pref but not limited to symbian, blackberry etc.
7) Don't care for Media player \ functions
8) Would like a robust battery - My current L7 discharges in 2 days

I checked the Motorola Q8 and Q9 but it is too wide to hold for regular phone conversations and I disliked the rubber casing feel. Samsung SGH i600 out due to over budget.

So any suggestions would be most welcome! Thanks.

P.S. I don't mind pushing the purchase a month or two if something neat is on it's way.
