Why cousin is going to New Zealand soon. I need to know if a cell phone bought in India will work there. If yes, which ones will?

Also need to know whether to buy a cell phone from India altogether or just buy from there.

Guys ,

Help me out.Am looking for an entry level PDA in the range 0f 15- 20k.My requirements are

1. Touch Screen.
2. Wi - Fi.
3. Ease if use & Speed
4. Expandable memory.

I looked at HTC 3400 & HTC touch.I am quite new to the world of PDA.Suggest any other good entry level PDA also which can meet my requirements.

The Touch is a good choice. The O2 Atom series is quite good too but I dont know if it fits into that budget.

Thanks.My budget is strictly 20 K AND o2 is way above @ 26 k.One more question,previously when HTC was launched it was only for AIRTEL SIM's.Now ,do we get the Unlocked version too?

Also,Is Windows Mobile 6 that comes with the phone is too slow?

From October onwards all HTC Touch phones are unlocked.

Hi Raajiv,
HTC Touch will be a good option. I had recently purchased and happy with it.
Go for HTC Touch (Model No 3452, This has more memory than Original HTC Touch 3450)

Htc Tytn ? Cost around 20k don't know if that's available in your place or not (Branded Uk handset) but you can install generic rom on it .

Even if it was locked, you can still unlock it by yourself, .

HTC Tytn is not available in INDIA still.

How about the performance of Windows Mobile 6 in HTC touch?Is it too slow?

Am planning to get one by the end of this week.

Might be HTC touch in old version is slow, but as i have purchased new version which has double memory, its not slow anymore...I am enjoying it...

You can buy an M3100(Uk branded) it's same as tytn & available in delhi for 20k -

I live down south and cannot travel allthe way to delhi for getting this.Here i get HTC 3400 and Touch within my budget.Also i get dopod 600.Please let me know the best one among these?
