Amazon.com: AT&T Tilt Smartphone (AT&T): Cell Phones & Service

The HTC tytn II (aka tilt) available for USD 150. This can make any normal man have some very naughty thoughts.

Is unlocking of this device possible?

Fantastic price...I hope nothing fishy about it though Amazon is a very reputable seller.

I am looking for a GPS enabled phone,

Major Requirements:
GPS
Camera
Phone

Options looked out till yet
Nokia 6110 - anyone used it, if yes how's the GPS and camera performance.
Nokia N95 - can i get n95 Grey cheaper and in budget specified
HTC P3300 - with a price tag of 20K+, it's way too costly currently for me

Anymore options available in this price band ??? I'll not mind spending 1-2K extra but it should be bang of buck kinda thing

Any inputs !!

If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Read the fine print:

The Price listed above for this phone includes an instant $250 discount from Amazon.com. You agree to repay this $250 discount to Amazon.com if, during the six-month period following the activation date or renewal date of your existing contract, you: (1) fail to pay your balance due each month on time; (2) fail to maintain your account in good standing; (3) disconnect the line of service; (4) transfer the phone to another line of service; (5) change your service rate plan, including canceling or removing required PDA, BlackBerry, or smartphone features after your product has shipped; or (6) use this line of service to replace an existing account with the carrier. The discount is available only if you are activating a new non-substitute line of service or extending an existing line of service. If you do not follow these rules, you authorize Amazon.com to charge your credit card $250 as reimbursement of the discount without need for further approval. **Purchase limit five (5) per household.**

Also note:
Price: $199.99
(when purchased with new service plan)

Rebate: $50.00
Price After Rebates: $149.99

What the service plan entails in terms of monthly commitment would be interesting. I'm sure you can google that information up too.

At the end of the day, you're buying a $800 phone with a combination of Amazon and AT&T rebates.

Considering the ongoing cost (which i believe is > 20K) N95 looks a costlier option, any options available in 15-17 K price band apart from Nokia 6110 ??

the n95 does cost more but it has a 5mp camera compared to the 2mp of the 6110. the gps on both would be about the same. IMO the n95 is more VFM.

It has pretty full fledged 5 Mp Carl Zeiss lens cam with flash. Pretty light weight gizmo at that, with b&w its going at around 26-27k in bangalore i guess. The GPS works fine though for the first fix one has to stand outside lol.

if your talking about the n95 then the price would have gone done. last i saw at diwali time it was 25k. should be around 22-23k.
