Boss the camera class is something you must keep in mind.

2mp, sony all the way - w810 or its cheaper brethren k750.
3mp, close fight in N73, K790/810i (the one with image edit and small round buttons/2gb card?).
5mp, n82 is pretty much the rage. to me, n95 was disappointing. don't know of sony models in this space

Camera Class im looking for is 3MP - Now, i like all three, N73, K790i & K810i.
N73 - Because it has a large screen but im more inclined towards sony ericsson for thier operating system (Im a SE Fan, my current phone is a P910i). N72 is little slow.

So im also confused as to go for Nokia or SE.

And if SE, the K790i or K810i. Is there any difference camera wise, i feel bith have the same camera so why pay more.
Also, i know that K810i is coming with 2GB card. Is the K790i also coming with 2GB card. And does K790i also have Image Edit?

Finally, what are the prices of all three.

K810i and K790i indeed have the same camera. K810i comes with a 2GB card free whilst K790i comes with 128MB. 2GB card would be 1k++. Also, K810i is 3G and has an extra front camera for video con's (no 3G in India yet so useless for the time being). Dont know about the Image edit. Last time I checked, K790 was around 11K and the K810/N73 ME are around 13K.

Between the K810i and the N73, i'd go for the 73 anyday. The 810 is nothing great. Its fussy to use, the cam is okay(nothing exceptional) and the sound(not headphones,but from speakers) is pathetic, and the image edit feature is nothing to write home about. Its just a gimmic which brightens the pic a little. It costs 12850 with 2gb card. And the browser can't even hold candle to the 73. The 790, is again avoidable. Its just an under average phone. The last of the good sonys were the 2mp series ie k750, W700,810,etc, which are far far better then the nokias of that price range.

Now, i'll have to buy 2 mobiles - SE X1 & MODU and the worst thing about these, is the waiting part

That was an absolutely dismissive review of the k810/k790 series as it gets.

@Xe: Cross Country Ride: Greens to Browns to Whites @ Fotopic.Net from an average dude.
.:xBhp discovers Rajasthan with Nokia NSeries:. but for pics from a very skilled gent using the N73.

Only issue with SE phones is their slightly less battery life: I get just under two days with the K750i on good use, and praveen reports similar. N73 iirc had better batt life.

So, should i go in for SE or NOKIA???
I mean, camera is the deciding factor here, but phone qualities like slow operating system and camera save times also play a role. Both points are slow in N73.
Now im really confused. Please could you give me a clear cut opinion on what to buy.

Perhaps a Pro & Con list of the NOKIA & SONY ERICSSON.
And just in case, between both the SE's as well.

HELP IS MUCH MUCH APPRECIATED believe me. Im really confused & i know im creating a nuisance

I would suggest:
a. Ask forum members who've kept both for 6+ months (can give you praveen's contacts).
b. Go to hotspot - they give pretty good rates and if you say that you are there to buy - basically WAVE the money in their nose, they will let you TD it as well. That is important because often there are subtle firmware upgrades for speed/cam/sound which may be sucky in launch models but upgraded subsequently.

As for hotspot, i havnt heard of it in Mumbai. Am planning to buy it from The Mobile Store as they have this assured 5k thingy going on. They only have dummies so cant TD them.

Do we get N95 version in India with 1200mah battery and extra RAM (same as N95-8GB)?

Basically, I want N95 with SD card stuff but same battery life and performance as N95-GB.
