K800 vs n93
Quality is extremely good and phone is reliable but service would be a problem.

Does not the K800 compete more with the N73 and Samsung D900 than the N93? The N93 is heavy (180gms) and it's real advantage is as a video cam.

So far I am leaning towards a P990 for myself as I need a PDA (and have also realised that I need a tactile numeric keyboard) and a N73 for my wife who takes a lot of pictures. There is no definitive evidence that the K800 is a better camera than the N73 is there?

the nokia camera`s are not good. but sony erricson camera are superb in front of nokia here is a review of the same.....

i think the n73 and n80 will have same camera sensor....

Prebookings are open for the P990. It comes with a special privilege card that entitles the holder (future owner) to special discounts at the snazziest restaurants and nightclubs in town, so I bet its going to be really really expensive.

the 800s camera is better but the video resolution is poor to 73s.
the pictures have good detail and color 73 fails.
800 build quality looks cheap typical Made in China stuff.
now u decide what suits ur better half better.

I am just thinking on these lines - need your help fellas.

I use a O2 Exec and a Nokia 7610 as my 2 cell phones. Also I use a 6 GB Ipod mini for playing music allover including my car.

Now , can I get rid of the O2 and the i-pod and just have a single gadget that will function the way these 2 gadgets do ? Or am I asking too much ?

How about a SE 850i ? A Nokia N-91 ? any more suggestions - let them flow.

I would advise against using your phone as a MP3 player as it eats up battery pretty fast.

I used this phone for 1-2hrs few weeks back and tested its sound quality,dint impress me at all as it has been positioned as phone+i-pod.
SQ on Moto E398 was far far better and SE W800 [which i also used for 1-2hrs] was slightly better than N91.I have never checked SQ on i-pod though..

But then these r personel views and i read somewhere just 2 days back that i-pod is just a fashion gimmick and its SQ is even worse than N91.

So far i would rate these like this......

Well........i had shortlisted N73,SE W9ooi and SE M600i and so i went to cellphone dealer,a very reputed one and from whom i bought my previous set[Moto E365]

He dint have N73 and SE M600 but had the dummy of 600 which i really liked.I had almost decided to buy this phone and then buy the digicam worht 10-15k with decent video capture capabilities,cacnon A620 can do it.

price he quoted ....M600i----16.5k,SE W900i---21.5k and N73 around 35k when launched next month.

So what u guys have to say about M600 vs W900?

...m600 doesn't have camera but w900 has very good camera with excellent video capture/playback capabilities,around 30fps.It supposedly has nVidia chip.
...How is M600 's audio quality as compared to W900 as this may be the deciding facotr ???

....As i will be putting in 1-2gb memory card,i will find it difficult and expensive to do so for M600 as it uses M2 card.How abt this???

while I am not really able to give a verdict. Nokia's N73 may just be slightly off qualty than SE and similar or better to samsung. But the video quality is miles ahead with vga resolution. IT is in your budget if you are considering spending 15k ON A CAMERA. i HAVE POSTED ON THIS THREAD SOME MONTHS A AGO suggesting many people to not buy camera phones until better phones are out. Now is the time. Stick to nokia otherwise Sonyericsson.

such a phone is possible. I use my e680i as a music phone for 7-8 hours and the battery lasts a day. sometimes I play music but charge it thru usb at the same time. IT is also possible in a car through the power socket.

but when looking for such a phone do make sure it hasa 3.5mm audio jack and a proper software.

Sound quality and software is best in motorola Music phones followed by SOnyericsson walkman/benq-siemens Q-fi phones and then nokia.

take your own headphoned to check the soundquality at the dealers before you buy the phone.
