Major difference is lack of EDGE on W800 though both lack 3G.

NOkia N70 if you are not too keen on camera quality and play a lot with your phone.

SE W810i(if you use edge) for quality features and stable use.

buy based on your use.

Thanx navin for info. Its not available here yet. They r still selling n70's here.
Anyway i can wait for 2 weeks,22-25k should be no probelm for me.

I am really mad at myself for not being able to decide abt which mobile to buy.2 days back i almost bought SE M600 [16.5k]as i liked its stunning looks though only dummy piece was shown to me.I also like SE w900[21.5k] but then its not symbion which i want to try this.

N73 is suppose to be very good at video recording ability and i just wish that its not bad with its audio quality.

Has someone used M600 even for few min,he can give me some good feedback as dealer told me that its more of a SQ type and SE W900 is more of a SPL gadget?

I have, but I used it to test Push Email and other PDA functionality and it came out on tops, beating the Nokia E61 hollow. It does not come with wifi.

I didnt try out the sound quality because it is not a very viable mp3 player thanks to the Memory Stick format which is expensive and comes in small capacities in this latest avtar.

For my mp3s I prefer my Eten M500 with the iTeq Stereo Bluetooth - plays for over 2.5 hours continuously (with GSM on and bluetooth in use).

If you're looking to use your phone as a music device go for one that has SD/MMC expansion. These cards are cheaper and you get upto 4GB easily these days.

i agree that its memory card option is creating big ? though i like it.
As my main requirements r camera with mp3 player, M600 should atleast have very good audio quality as it is w/o camera.

usually phone can accept almost double the amount of memory card what have been written in specification.
So will N73 be able to accept 2gb card against 1gb advised in specs?

n73 will be able to accept 2gig cards against the specs. the reasons is manufacturers test the card with the highest memory available during the launch of the phone. Hence if 2 gig is not available then, it wont be mentioned in the specs but will work when such a card is released. My E680i specs mentioned 2gig sd card support. Now 4and 8 gig cards are out and people are using it flawlessly.

For a music based devices, motorola has the best reputation today. Sonyericsson follows and nokia is third. (MInd you, this rating is only based among the comparo of these three brands)

camerawise Sonyericsson is first for still pics, nokia is second (for videos its first) and motorola fails as it hasnt got a 2mp camera out yet. (only among the three)

Flash memorywise I would suggest you stick to SD/MMC or Memory stick duo pro. A mini sd may also work as it is also widely accepted now. Reason? The most widespread flash memory media is SD/MMC(mini-sd) followed by memory stick duo pro. DUo pro will be faster than sd/mmc usually, though some brands have got a faster SD/MMC cards in the market which are partially available. My siemens s65 used mini-sd but the problem was the adapter is not too strong and I feared the card may get stuck inside my laptop card-reader.

Why not wait for w950? Its got a 4 gig inbuilt memory, reducing the problem of buying a flash memory, got walkman music controls and good Sound quality. It is similar or better to the m600, based on symbian and looks good with sensor touch keyboard.

For a good music phone with 3.2mp cam, look at Sonyericsson, for a good cam phone with music look at Nokia (their new vga video phones are yet to be beat), for a purely good music phone with a working cam (1.3mp cam phone to replace your ipod) look at motorola.

Doc I just tinked with the N73 and K800 yesterday. Remember I used a Nokia 6230i before and my wife uses a 7610.

The N73 was available for 26K Grey. It is not available officially yet. The K800 is 20K grey. (I did not ask the official price as I was playing with the phones).

I found it easier to send SMSes from thei N73 although it's button are smaller than the K800's but this could be due to my familiraity with the 7610/6230i.

The K800 pics looks better (atleast on the phone displays).

The K800's lens cover looked like it could get caught in headphone wire. The N73's lens cover looked sleeker and more snug fitted.

Really there is not much to choose between these 2 phones. Most differences are minor and not noticeable unless placed head to head. I am considering the N73 becuase it is for my wife who is used to her 7610.

THe M600 is a fantastic phone for those who are willing to not have ANY camera. As I understand it the only phone that compares to it's capabilities (other than the camera) is the yet to be released P990 (other than the WIndows mobiles).

BTW (OT) I have found one are where most windows mobiles are lacking. As a phone I find I need a tactile numeric keypad. I dont know of any Windows mobile that offers this.

@Navin yeah...i agree, k800's still pictures r better than those taken with N73 but later's video capture is far better.this has been confirmed by many reviews/comparison and feedback by users.k800 is out of my list as i dont like its design/look.
navin, my mobile phone is also going ICE way...have to double the initial budget

@devarshi w950 is in my wishlist but that all depends upon its price. If its available at about same price as n73,i will buy it.
Its specs/reviews r really impressive.

BTW what really is 'hot-swappable'.Does it mean if some phone's memory is hot swappable,we can put in any memory card in it?????
