Just bought SE K750i last week for 12.75 K....Superb phone and nice 2MP camera...still getting used to it as most of the functions (like keypad lock) are opposite of that in nokia....excellent sound quility and come with the memory expantion slot ...

well........few days back i checked SE 800 and i was disappointed with its SQ as compared to moto E398 which i tried few months back.I had heard before that SQ of SE800 is worse than SE750.

so now i think i should try from moto razr v3x/roqr2/780.What u guys have to say?

I wonder why only Nokia mobile phones are so easy to unlock! Most Nokia phones can be unlocked without any cable, just typing a number (often freely available from internet).
Other manufactueres mobiles often require cable connection & EPROM programming - hardly everyone's job.
Any specific reasons why Nokia makes phones in this way?

My uncle is coming from US...Is it possible that he brings the mobile(GSM) he is using currently n just get a SIM in India n use it???

I was told by someone that there is a need of PIN or some no. change required to use a US phone here in india..?? Is it true???

What is min features(Triband/dual band) required in a phone to be used in India?

does he have an UNLOCKED phone? he might not if he bought phone frm cingular, verizon, t-mobile store in the US. the phone will have to unlocked first.

Since the phone is currently being used there, it should be directly usable here. Just confirm that it is a tri-band, and GSM, and you should be set.

Yeah, Make sure its an unlocked phone.
The phone co. as cheap deal has mentioned here normally sell their phones in the deals and those phones are locked, cannot be used with any other providers.

If thats the case, you might need to visit those hackers who are unlockin such phones from foreign countries, else you can directly start using it.

What is it with E398 pretty old n cheap but still beats anything for its SQ???

motorola E398 is specifically developed as a music phone.

hence its got the right sound and graphics drivers from ATi to help improvise on these fronts.

RoKR 2 which is an excellent music phone is not yet available freely in India.

How is the Nokia 6708 phone. Intend use for business purposes only. Getting it for 18.5k with B&W. Thinking of trading it for my Nokia 6630 as am not too happy with it.

I am using the Motorola A780, it's a decent phone, though doesn't have Wi-Fi.
