Which one do you think is better?
Prices are almost similar.

Also, any idea when will we get Strom 2 and 9700 here in India?
Avoid Storm!

8900 is a 2G as far as i remember. Its a fast phone comes with Wifi and GPS. Where as 9630 is not equipped with WIFI so thats a big NO NO for me atleast!

Other features are almost same in both the phones.

Hi Gurus,
I am in the market for a new blackberry. I currently have a 8800 and want to replace it as its getting old.
My requirements are it should have a good camera and the keys should be pretty big.
It should also be able to support multimedia, like songs and stuff.
Can someone please suggest a good blackberry for me.

Arjun- The 8800 had massive keys, none of the newer BBs have that size. They are all pretty much the same size keys only difference being that the javelin & 8520 have gaps between the keys. The old & new bold have joint keys. It depends on personal preference, so you should play around with the phones to see what you like.
The old Bold probably stilll has the largest keys so you might want to grab that soon if typing is a big concern. On every other front the bold fails to impress.

Hi Guys,

I downloaded BB World Application on my 8820.

On the my world tab within the application it gives me a memory status bar, in which it just shows a few very MBs left.

It shows memory as 96MB and available as 3.2MBs.

I have all the media and photos etc on my media card. I am just not sure on what is that has taken my 93MBs.

I have just downloaded a Facebook application as of now and now it shows memory as full.

Looking forward for some suggestions and help.

Has anyone used the cracked CDMA Blackberries. Also, now with the Reliance BIOSes being put on the web by Blackberry, how easy or difficult will it be use an imported CDMA unit?

You will have to use Opera to browse through GPRS. It may not allow you to download stuff. The BB browser and messenger will not work.

If the SIM (or your connection) is already enabled for GPRS, all you have to do is give the settings.

There are workarounds even to enable the BB browser and messenger. I have not sat around to do it though.

All the above based on my experience with BB 8320 with a cellone connection used by my wife.

Planning to buy a BB 8900 through Vodafone soon. One question I still have; I am on Vodafone's group-talk plans (free calls within my group of 10 numbers), so do I have to switch to a different plan for BB or is the email/internet stuff an addon package? Vodafone reps won't answer my questions on the phone and I don't have time until next week to go to a Vodafone store and check.
