Would suggest you go into your phone settings and turn off data services whilst roaming to prevent receiving large bills from your Indian service provider. You should be able to use the BB services using the local thai sim card I assume.

Thanks viper,

If the Bb services work that would indeed be great.
Will update once I reach there

I also got international roaming deactivated on my number yesterday. But still not taking any chances will take out the sim card to be sure!!!
Cheers

I have tried fommy lot of times... you can use their live help and tell them SKU code for the product from their website. They would tell you when it would reach you.

All of the blackberry items I bought from them have been genuine...

Could you please get details on this from your friend. I am going to Bangkok on Monday, would really help if I could know which mobile company offers this and where exactly at the airport is their stall/store located. Thanks !

Here is a RUMOUR I found on the net:
6 New BlackBerry Devices Coming In Q3/Q4 2010? | The Cellular Guru

IF there is an exclusive on the 9800, we might see it here in India early next year (Official version, not AT&T variant).

The emerging markets 'Bold Atlas' looks interesting?

what are the reviews regarding the semi QWERTY on the new pearl? I know it has got a new advanced prediction system.
But is it comparable to a full fledged keyboard?
and what is the price of the new pearl.
