i bought mine from the Mobile store on 27th Nov for rs 17900 + Rs 300 for the screen guard.

I checked on a couple of sites and none of them are offering it below Rs 17,200. Try and get it from a physical store so that you have a neck to grab if something goes wrong.

OT - Yesterday there was situation wherein futurebazaar.com showed the prices of Rs 17250 for the curve 3g 9300 and the word spread like wild fire in my office and about 20 people booked it however many of them got a call today saying that it was an error and the price was actually Rs 17250 and that the website would compensate them with rs 250 of free vouchers besides the refund amount however everyone refused and said they wanted the phone.

Currently the order status is showing "SHIPPED" - Would have to wait for 7 days to see if they actually get it or the website negotiates with them.

True, it does play youtube videos but sadly the quality on BB is not that great..they seem like a video shot from a 2mp phone cam.

I have ditched it now and have returned to BB browser. Waiting for 3g now

My BB pin is 2314ACCB...Since the BB group is limited to only 30 members i'm starting this new group.

@gypsy4x4 Why don't you post the barcode of the group so we don't have to individually post our PINs, unless that is that the purpose and you want to approve all individually

Re: Blackberry Phones and Services in India

Has anyone tried ColorMii in bandra? Their bb makeovers look good.
The silver bezel on my 9700 has chipped off, looking to replace just take part with maybe a blue bezel. Is it possible to get just the bezel or does one gave to buy the entire makeover kit?

Check a post of mine a few pages back. I changed my front part to blue. You can get whatever colours you want, except the full front will have to be changed, you cant get just the bezel.

Quality is ok, as good as OE if not a little worse.

Changing mine to white and red in the next couple of days.

Re: Blackberry Phones and Services in India

Does it have a very painted/shiny look? Coz those begin to chip of pretty quickly.

I am looking to get a navy blue-ish color, have seen some pics on their FB page but the blues on there are very electric and loud.

How much do they charge?

Re: Blackberry Phones and Services in India

Guys,

I have recently joined the world of blackberry ( read : less than 24 hrs)

I got the BB8520 as a wedding anniversary gift from my wifey

For time being i have subscribed to the 299 / month plan allowing me 10 email accounts, messengers & BBM. I got a call from Vodafone Customer care stating they have 2 more options for my account.

1. 899 / month : Unlimited surfing + emails + mesengers + fb
2. 6999 / yr : all of above but with a yearly upfront payment the cost comes to 583.25 / month.

What i want to know is, when they say "unlimited" what all is included? can i connect my BB to my PC / Laptop and use as model to connect to internet? are there any hidden charges or * any where?

my primary usage is emails + messengers + basic surfing (FB, Team-bhp, twitter etc.)
when on the GO.

Thanks guys.
