what a catch. The android app needs a thank button and FAST!
but thanks for clicking and taking the effort to post it.
The Sunny looks quitr large. And definately has road presence. IMHO it looks the better of the lot in its segment.

Thanks for the post. That’s quite an inoffensive looking car IMO. And it looks almost Corolla Altis size!

Pardon me if I am repeating this.

The wheelbase of the Sunny is the same as that of the Magnum and that of the Corolla - 2600mm. A lot more than the ANHC.

Re: Nissan Sunny unveiled for the the Indian mid-size market.

For whatever reasons, the Sunny looks like a over grown Dzire. Though the boot integration seems to be done better.

It should be spacious going by the wheelbase. Is Team-bhp doing an official review of sunny?

Re: Nissan Sunny unveiled for the the Indian mid-size market.

Anybody in the know, any idea on when the Sunny release is planned. Would it be before Dassera or around Diwali?

Cheers

Re: Nissan Sunny unveiled for the the Indian mid-size market.

Sunny rolls out:

- To be produced at the company’s manufacturing plant near Chennai.

- It is manufactured with 85% local content of which 40% of the components are sourced from Chennai.

- Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama, Managing Director and CEO, NMIPL. said, “We wanted the mid-size sedan to be available during the upcoming festival season”.

Funny enough, the front face looks very very similar to Swift.
And the grill looks like Aria.

Is this a model running elsewhere in the world or is it first in India

It's a new global saloon built on the Micra platform.

Re: Nissan Sunny unveiled for the the Indian mid-size market.

The same car is launched in US as 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan | Nissan USA
I think Autocar has driven the same.

Interiors have are almost the same.

Re: Nissan Sunny unveiled for the the Indian mid-size market.

I'll be kind! I like it from the grill up to the windscreen ( I said that i would be kind!). From then on, the designers seem to have taken a break, drew something till the 'B' Pillar, taken another break, then 'C' pillar came back. End of shift. Ok guys tomorrow is another day!!".
Next day, New day, NEW IDEAS. Came back to work and redesigned the 'C' Pillar. Couldn't do much. One guy backs into another guys elbow. Pen skids across paper and hey presto! 'C' Pillar is born! Got bored around lunch time, so just polished it off with heavy inspiration from Maruti's Backsides! Thus NISSAN's FANNY. Oops SUNNY is born!!
