That's exactly what I thought and I did not get any shop in Bangalore with Bosch for Optra.

At least I can tell that I'm not feeling happy on spending 850/- for wiper blades.

Saw a SRV yesterday near rajajinagar .. To say the least it looks way better than the current crop of cars including the city , fiesta and the aveo .. I think they are officially launching the 1.6L 115 bhp version on 4th July in bangalore ??

Rudra, I don't know if you tried contacting the Bosch service center in Bangalore. They stock Bosch spares too.

I sourced wipers for my Palio from Bosch service in Hyd. Though the pack has Palio printed on it, they were not of the same size as the original. The driver side wiper was shorter by an inch. But it works, no issues and wipes the glass better than the original. I paid Rs.350

Hey how come the 1.6 has 115 hp? I thought it was 104 hp. Now I'm going to get pissed off!

No I haven't. And why should I? A good brand/product like Bosch should be available accross the counter. Especially when they're tomtoming all over with their communication. Very few companies have mastered the art of marketing/delivery models....Anyway Satish, it's off topic here in this thread.

This is real cool news; any idea of the launch date of this in India... is it real soon?

Aveo Hatchback is also coming soon i guessl; check out the upcoming cars section on http://chevrolet.co.in/action/home .

Please please share if you know the launch dates.... as i am plannign a car next month after my 800 got stolen on monday

Hehe, teh site's down. MAybe they are uploading new pix etc

frm the site "The 4-cylinder and 16 valve engine displaces 1598cc and has a maximum torque of 148Nm." They say of only teh 1.6 engine.
