I am disappointed with the spy pics. I feel current generation looks more muscular and SUV like. Hope they at least make up with the feature list i.e. 6 airbags, 6 speed, rear disc brakes, better ride quality, improved interiors, etc.

Toyota, thank you for keeping the almost similar profile and shape of the all new 2016 Fortuner vis a vis the current Fortuner.

Approach angle seems to have gone up and by a lot. From the frontal pics posted by Karan, it appears more butch, I like that.

In the rear, I just hope, they replace the tail lamps, the looks would be complete.

This is a snap from a Brazilian website that says New Toyota Hilux SW4 which is basically the Fortuner. But the snaps posted before seems different? Except for the rims.

I quite like what I see! The tail lamps look modern, edgy and a little inspired by Santa Fe too.

LED tail lamps are fast becoming the norm even in lower segments, so no brownie points for that though

Its the same vehicle spotted in Brazil and Thailand. the wheels and the shark fin antenna on the roof, the high waist line and the new rear quarter glass and the C/D pillars are the same.

The LEDs in the rear taillights is a welcome move. It really enhances the premium feel of the vehicle.

The only thing different is the camouflage of the two vehicles.

The rear tail light cluster, the rear spoiler etc matches the rear of the NEW RAV 4.

Had gone to Amana Toyota Malappuram today to collect my Innova after accident repair. Met Marketing Head Mr. Girish.

According to him the following can be expected from Toyota next month (Jan 2015)

1. All black interiors in Fortuner range.

2. 2.5 L D4D engine with 2WD MT & AT.

3. 3.0 L D4D with 4WD MT.

4. Minor changes in the interiors to Innova.

5. All models of all cars (variants) to be equipped with Air Bags.

6. Price rise across the range by 2-3%.

7. Camry Hybrid price might come down in near future because of green subsidy from GOI.

8. New SUV in the range of 50 Lakhs to be introduced in India in Q2 as CBU.
