| ![]() Heard rumors that Renault is planning to relaunch the face lifted capture top model at 13 lakhs on road price as soon as February. If there's any truth in that I guess Nissan shall price the kicks aggressively too. I think they need numbers more than big profits. Keeping fingers crossed. I'm interested in it as a duster owner I know it's a good package but dread that if it fails, Nissan would close shop and my new purchase will depreciate like a rock. |

| ![]() I think there will be 2 variants in petrol, base XL and mid variant XV (just a guess). Though only XV can also be true. I think this is a flawed strategy. With focus now shifting on petrol as a fuel, why does someone looking for a petrol has to settle with a lower variant. Goes over my head! |

Source Kicks will come with a bunch of standard features like auto climate control, dual airbags, ABS, and more. Base model Feature-wise looks similar to Captur. 3 years warranty, 3 years 24/7 road side assistance and 3 years service maintenance at no additional cost. Final prices out: ![]() Source Except for the base petrol, all others are almost on par or above Captur. Would be interesting to se if this is able to eat up into Creta's share or end up kicking out captur from the market altogether ![]() Last edited by SoumenD : 22nd January 2019 at 13:25. | ||

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Prices do start at 9.55 lacs as shown in the livestream but the funny thing is that they did not share the prices of any of the variants! I found that highly surprising! Why leave the audience still in suspense - they should have shared all the variant wise prices like all other manufacturers do! Petrol is available in both XL and XV variants, but not in XV premium and XV premium option. Diesel is available in all four variants. But where are the variants wise prices.. not even available on the website yet. Last edited by Behemoth : 22nd January 2019 at 13:05. |

| ![]() The @Nissan_India #Kicks has been launched at a price of Rs 9.55 lakh (ex-showroom) ![]() Nissan has finally announced prices for its new Kicks SUV. Priced from Rs 9.55 lakh to Rs 14.65 lakh, the Kicks is Nissan’s answer to the likes of the Hyundai Creta (Rs 9.50-15.10 lakh) and the Renault Captur (Rs 9.99-13.25 lakh). There's also a subscription package for those who don't want to outright buy the Nissan Kicks, for a price of Rs 11 per kilometer. Source Last edited by JS Kwt : 22nd January 2019 at 13:27. |

| ![]() 9.55 is a ok-ish pricing IMO. Could have been better by 25k to make a mark but since they have included maintenance package in it, it does sound interesting. Not showing variant wise pricing is a funny thing. Last edited by tarik.arora : 22nd January 2019 at 13:15. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Why Nissan is acting funny with a promising product? Showcasing it once, then doing a drive, then a launch but not revealing the prices of all variants? I am in market for my next car. I currently drive a 2014 Nissan Terrano XE, have done 135k kms. I am really happy with it. Based on this I am considering this but this wait to get concrete details is getting frustrating. Edit: Just saw that pricing it out. I was waiting for the XV pricing as wanted my next car to feel a little upmarket after driving and being driven around in rather barebone XE. With this pricing it would be almost 14+ lacs. Time to look elsewhere. Last edited by BANDHAV : 22nd January 2019 at 13:32. |

| ![]() The pricing is too optimistic by the segment standards. It is priced dangerously close to the Creta variant to variant. Though if the actual product is genuinely a good one, I see this one selling 1-1.5k per month. The Creta brand name is too strong and the Nissan brand name is too average in India to warrant any higher sales. Its twin, the Captur is priced quite lower than this(with lesser equipment though) and looks much better inside-out IMO. Also, the Captur offers you projectors right from the base variant, something which the Kicks misses out on. The Captur has full LED headlights whereas Nissan offers projector LEDs in the top 2 variants only for the low beam. Unless the Kicks is a considerably better product than the Captur, I don't see how it is going to sell in higher numbers. The 8 inch floating touchscreen and the soft touch dashboard can only take it so far. Last edited by AYP : 22nd January 2019 at 14:37. |
