I hope It wont require more RAM (petrol/diesel) to run efficiently.

If its to be like VISTA, Its not going to be fine with whatever RAM (Petrol, Diesel) you put.

Why not VISTA AERO, and include in the product manual

I'm not too sure. IIRC, it is bigger but not by a huge margin. The emphasis seems to be on maximising the passenger area which is quite copious.

True.

To be honest, I don't know. It was too crowded and I wasn't allowed to get inside the car.

Yes, that seems to be the case.

I have sat inside it and have not driven it. The space inside is a big step up. I am over 6ft. Didn't have problems behind when the front driver was a 6ft 3! Just to give you an idea. The car is bigger and hence the boot space goes up too...

Interior finish on the prototype I saw was better than the Swift (its a prototype hence wait till the real one comes). But overall it was quite promising.

Noticed from the pics that the instrument cluster is centrally mounted....don't know how well it will go with the people.
Also, happened to observe only one big dial and two small ones on either side of it. Assuming that the big one is the speedometer and the small ones the fuel guage and engine temperature indicator, no tachometer ???

Thats good news. Auto Magazines must be testing them now for their "Test Drive" report in August issue.

I guess petrol will be selling well like 60:40 ratio with diesel. unlike the current models my guess is 80:20 ( it might be 90:10 before the release of zeta).

Well, it does come with the tachometer as this photo taken by Tushky shows.
The all new Indica Vista (V3). Launch on 23rd August!-new-indica-interior-2.jpg

Come to think of it, the temp gauge seems to be missing.

I guess it is gone to digital panel with a separate RED LED to glow when engine is hotter.

Any change is expected from the prototype. Any insider update about the "On sale" configuration? First drive experience? I wish the test drivers joins to this Forum .

Any update from Super Spy Tushky?

tata's have never given an integrated music system in indica. Do you think they will one in top end model of this new car. Hope they also give steering mounted controls.

Thanked: Once

Indica was always a good product with good engine and Cabin space but it is Tata product Quality and reliability backed by below standard A.S.S.

Tata should learn from Maruti that, even the products which are old and have just basics can sell in good numbers with good A.S.S.

No matter how many new models or upgrades Tata launch, they have to first improve their A.S.S alongwith the product Quality and reliability.

Sorry to disappoint you but it gets the same dashboard to maximise commonality of parts.
