Maybe both Jeep and Citroen will share the same showroom. In Bangalore, MPS/PPS dealer has taken the Citroen dealership and looks like they are planning to use their existing Jeep showroom in Electronic city for Citroen as well.

Quite possible. PSA and FCA have merged globally to create the Stellantis group. So I wouldnt be surprised if Citroen and Jeep found some synergies in many areas like distribution etc. However im not so sure of joint showrooms from day one since it may not help to create a brand identity for Citroen. May be its just an one off instance of a dealer having both brands under his company and thereby them being next to each other.

Your first product of your new brand in India will be in the near dead Tucson/Karoq segment?

Why?

It will hardly sell, the dealers will not be too enthusiastic, will not get much press or consumer interest. The velocity of the brand (I don't know how else to put it) will be slow, why do you want that in India? The Indian market never gives anyone a second chance very easily.

This top down approach of the new entrants is an interesting strategy for sure. MG and KIA, both started with this and have created enough buzz to sell their initial offerings with much success.

C5 Aircross is good to look at and has the potential to kick start a segment which is in the sleep mode right now. Let’s see which way the unveiling takes the brand Citroen and if priced correctly, we will probably see another new entrant laughing all the way to the bank !!
