The design is growing on me. It looks pretty good in this rear view.

re: The MG Gloster, now launched at Rs 28.98 lakh

Hello everyone, I saw a black Gloster today. The vehicle does have good road presence. However, I found something weird with the exhaust pipes. The car has 2 exhaust pipes on each side. The exhaust pipes have twin chrome barrels to enhance the looks but the actual pipes are easily visible and it's a bit funny to see this when you are tailing a Gloster.

How is it ? Great like Fortuner or a bit tame like Alturas?

In simple terms..it's big. Not as handsome as the Fortuner but still it has a decent face. From the rear.. Gloster is just okay to look at. I feel Alturas is better looking in the rear game. Obviously the Fortuner leads the look-pack.

Wow! Just wow! The car looks stunning and menacing. Only issue, where do you make use of such features on ever-changing Indian roads?
Really hope the pricing is fair

This badge was earlier used by MG in markets like Thailand. Have seen the same on ZS and MG3 models there.

This commercial was shot in Udaipur some time back. While not a fan of MG, I appreciate them for bringing this tech to little mass market cars/popularizing it. They'll sure play how Xiaomi and Oneplus and the likes dominated the Indian smartphone market.

Another subtle way to wash off Chinese origins and holding British flag. Brands like Bentley, Mini, LR, Jaguar, Lotus will be like, who's this new patriotic kid on the block who loves UK so much more than ourselves?

Kudos to MG for offering all the safety and convenience gadgets to their product at a time established manufacturers start cutting them out citing costs. With the amount of features on offer they could price it over Fortuner and they will still be able to find some buyers who are tired of the Ford and Toyota options by now.

re: The MG Gloster, now launched at Rs 28.98 lakh

I just noticed, that in the teaser video, the fog lamps are conventional halogen units. Even the Hector gets LED foglamps. Even this is an indicator, that they might price it very aggressively, maybe even a 10-12 L price gap onroad between the Fortuner and itself.

Fingers crossed !

I spotted one near Peenya (Bangalore) on Friday (18th Sep). I was able to take a video as well.

This seems to be the MG Gloster and not the Gravitas. The rim design and tail lamp shape is a giveaway.

Yeah. The twin exhaust also made me realise.
