Looks like a typo, pricing seems to be starting from R 12.8lakhs which is around 65 lakhs INR.

You have got it completely wrong. Its R 1 765 500 i.e 1.765 mn Rand which definitely isnt 14 lakhs.

It's going to be around 7-8000 AUD more than LC200 in Australia. Given the way, Toyota works and overall demand of this truck, I won't be surprised if they launch around 1,70- 1,80 Cr mark.

Currently, local dealers have a rough estimate of launch in our market around April 2022 with multiple requests to book irrespective of the costs.

Seems like another LC300 has landed up! Don't know the location but it definitely seems to be like India. Wonder if it's a going to stay here or go somewhere like Nepal or Bhutan.

Toyota UAE has built the world’s first LC300 made of Lego bricks.

The Australasian New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP) publishes its first result for 2022 with a five star score for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 series.

The vehicle lost 4 points out of 16 in the front mPDB test for poor crash compatibility with smaller cars demonstrated by damage to the test barrier.

The rating is not valid for the GR Sport trim level.

2022 has got off to a good start for NCAPs globally; this is the second NCAP result published globally in 2022 after Japan NCAP's test on the Mazda CX-30, which also achieved a full five star result there. New results are expected to be published soon by other NCAP programmes like Global NCAP SaferCarsforIndia (late January) and Euro NCAP (early February).
