My LC Prado has the 4L V6 in it and a 9.7L/100 economy is just..

The best I've ever gotten is 10L/100 and that too on a highway run at sedate speeds in the winter!

Though, mine is mated to a 5 speed auto, so that will definitely have some bearing, but I am assuming that the increased weight of the LC300 should negate that quite a bit.

Honestly, I would kill for 9.7! On an average with 50/50 city/highway, I normally see approx 15L/100km.

Any idea if the car will be launched in India around the same time ? In the past most of Bollywood had this car as their main ride before the Q7 and then the current range rover took over.

There is no other place on the planet that is suited to premiere the land cruiser than the Middle-East. As a country Australia may have an edge, but going by region, the Middle-East is the home of the Land Cruiser.

One day remaining for the launch and the only clear interior pic has come the day before !!!

Usually for other car launches, there would be a detailed walk around video (officially or unofficially) weeks or even months before the launch. Not to say teasers or camouflaged models given for TDs by the company itself. Ofcourse the pandemic may have ruined plans, but there isn't even virtual teasers. Toyota secrecy at its best.

The interiors looks plush no doubt, but am curious for the GX/base variant interiors. All the scoop pics have been of the higher variants, guess the lower variants will come much later, after the diesel version is launched.

Seems to be inspired from the sporty variants of the Camry sold in North America.

I love the interiors and the layered dashboard, but somehow have the feeling that this may not age well in terms of design. Atleast for the 10+ years it will be on sale. Maybe I am wrong. It would be sold long enough to make it feel timeless
