I think this one is just the normal embosed number plates. But then they look really awsome and the letters will not get bubbles as in our sticker no plates.

I will be checking out the dealer in Airport road this saturday. Will update you guys.

Those are just regular punch plates, they look very neat though

Iv seen some fake HS plates, (with the IND reflective stickering on the letters) and over a period of time Iv seen the colour fade!

Thats the very reason I just mentioned them as "Number plates" instead of high security number plates.

My favoritest number plate format can be seen here.

Yup, mine are the normal embossed number plates and I got them done from one Mr. Ashfaq on JM Road. After much bargaining I finally settled for and paid 850/- bucks for the pair.(he did quote me 1k initially.) Regarding the HSRPs, he said the design is not yet finalized and that it will take sometime as there would be step-by-step statewise implementation.

Those from Pune, can also get it done from Bafna Motors on Ghole Road.

Hey, is the Palio's front plate the legal size or smaller? I agree it looks neat but what if the cops/RTO people keep stopping you?

Correct. But when an actual statutory implementation comes, apart from the third sticker, the fixing will have to be done at authorized places, updating of RTO databases etc. So net at that time you will have to go through the same again. And not very sure if the existing 2 plates can be used or not. So the generic advice would be one can go for these plates now for the heck of it but not for advance meeting statutory norms.

My original number plates are showing some rust here & there. I am planning to fix the High Security number plate. Where can i find it here in Trivandrum?? I tried some local shops, but most of them had no idea about it.

I'm planning to get the windshield stickers for our Qualis and Swift. The plates for the RX100 and a few others for my friends have arrived. They are a bit expensive but they look great.
