how funny!! Don't know what they try to prove with all those weird paint schemes. Looks like its meant for drawing attention. Not many people would have had a second look at it if it had the normal paint job !!

the daewoo matiz indeed is a pleasure to drive.
i still own an august 1999 and have done 80000km on it.
the 799cc engine is zippy enough for a city hatch, the aircon great, reasonably good handling and a spacious cabin (by small car standards).
but the greatest feature on any daewoo was safety.
the problem with the matiz is that its a pretty touchlight nimble car.the steering is delicate.the rockers and cam needed replacements sooner than later.the wiring too dainty for any add ons.

lets see how the the spark holds up on indian turf.

the new spark looks way better thant he zen estilo. much more modern than the outdated estilo which is a generation old mr wagon. once the spark comes in, i wonder how GM is going to keep up with the high demand its goin to receive from its customers.

GOOD LUCK CHEVY !!

If I am not mistaken, the "black" Tavera is actually the original Isuzu Panther. with LS and Hi-Grade badgings on it. Can be seen often on the roads here.

Off topic : Is it the Panther, or was it called the Trooper? I remember the vehicle was called the Trooper during my days in the Gulf.

Somewhere I read that spark is brought down to india in CKD kit form outside and they assemble the same and sell it until their greenfield plant is ready to manufacture.

Doesn't this will raise the price of spark ?
