Even though they are going touch they have retained physical buttons for critical functions like Aircon temperature control and fan speed in form of toggles and also toggles for volume rockers and other functions as seen in steering wheel.

A source from TML confirms harrier/safari launch in oct/nov followed by Curvv in early 24

Harrier / Safari FL to launch with 1.5Turbo Petrol Engine as well.

Also, the much talked about steering wheel is similar to what is seen in Sierra concept

Deliveries will depend on stock situation of the current gen harrier & safari.

P.S. Nexon FMC is also planned in Sep23

That is good. Also will Nexon diesel have a proper automatic? And will it have the 1.2 TGDI? Or will it be the curvv that gets the engine as per your source?

I didn't enquire much on Nexon but for Curvv will surely get the 1.5TGDI.

CURVV will only get the 1.2TGDi apart for diesel engine. But it will commence from EV variant.

1.5TGDi will commence in the Sierra and later extend to the Harrier.

TATA Motors is on a bull run!!

With EBITDA on a high rise and increasing profit margins and all divisions firing on all cylinders, TATA motors is on a rampage. They are looking at profits and not running behind volumes. They are to launch refreshes on all SUV models in their current lineage along with the launch of Curvv SUV before the end of Q4 2023.

Also JLR doing extremely well with a huge backlogs and increasing production capacity, they are on a roll.

CVs too have lost volumes due to BS6 P2 transition is all set to pick up in next couple of quarters.

Spotted in Dharwad today by my nephew:









Some points he was able to garner but not confirmed:
1. Terrain mode selector has some changes
2. Some kind of lighting strip where the bonnet meets grille
3. Display screen of infotainment system & console both rectangular.
4. The problem with knee getting fouled by the centre console looks resolved - this was by visual check, since he was able to talk to the driver and see tine interiors.
5. Turn signals integrated into ORVM glass.
6. ORVM glass also shows proximity alerts.
7. Headlights seem to different.

Seems like lot of testing on the Belgaum-Dharwad section. He has spotted both Harrier and Safari a few times. Have also got videos, but cant upload these directly.
