Is it just me or the stance looks a little more upright than the current Safari?

More than the design and feature-list changes, I am interested to know if they would be launching the facelift with the turbo-petrol engine, and if they are improving on their fit and finish. I have zeroed in on the Hector, but have been holding back on my booking just because of the Safari facelift's impending launch, and in the hope that it would launch with a petrol.

Safari facelift now spotted with a larger than usual touchscreen. Perhaps a 12-inch? Makes sense considering even the Nexon facelift comes with a high-res 10-inch screen now. Frankly, with the barrage of features they put in the Nexon, I wonder what else new there is to put in the Safari/Harrier.

Looks like the one unveiled on the Nexon.ev today. This is larger than the one on the ICE version. Would be interesting to see which features they will bring to the Harrier / Safari.

Mr. Shailesh Chandra in an interview clearly states (at 4:08) that the new 1.5 Petrol GDi will appear in the Harrier/Safari only later next year, after the Curvv is launched.

Since petrol isn't coming in upcoming facelift for Harrier / Safari - this seems like just a feature upgrade facelift, or are there any other mechanical refinements incoming ?

I wish, Tata tunes the steering better & makes it easier to drive in city at parking speeds.

Just got a information from friends’ friend that safari and harrier are getting a newer electrical steering.
Note- this is unverified ^
So for those of us who like the current steering feel- now is the right time to get a good deal. Festive offers are also going on.

With the Nexon facelift launched, select authorised dealerships across the country have also started accepting unofficial orders for the upcoming SUV duo, the Tata Safari facelift and Harrier facelift. Interested customers can book the SUVs for a token amount of Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 21,000, respectively.

This probably indicates that the launch is around the corner!

I can confirm this as Sagar Motors from Delhi called us for a booking on the Safari Facelift for a token amount of 25000 INR. Diesel variants only engine at launch which probably is during Navratri, no petrol options for now.
