For 45k we get Space + a better build (a little better build) + nice suspension / comfort + 35BHP more + VGT.

Spot on Hyundai Spot on just don't let customers wait for months like SUZUKI...

According to sources VERNA gives around 14 - 16 with AC in city so getz will be probably give the same FE.

Nope, I feel Getz may giev a couple of kms more as the weight of car is less and will consume less fuel to lug on the weight. My feeling is it would give around 16kmpl inside city.

Hyundai has made customers wait for the launch instead of having them wait for deliveries I reckon. Production has been steady for many months now for the export cadre.

Regarding FE I think city figures will read 12 - 14. Highway driving will probably yeild a bonus FE. Just a hunch, nothing more.

Anyway lets see Im hoping to switch my DDis booking to CRDI

If it weighed less than a tonne then the car would be a death trap considering the engine in question.

If this 5.69 contains all the goodies of the GLX(including ABS) + beige interiors+ some fancy stuff ( wood color trims etc )

Don't see why not to go for this? ( against swift diesel + getz 1.3 petrol too)

You are getting sooooooo many things in one BIG hatch.

Let's see what fabia brings to us against this.

fabia diesel is 1.4 Diesel , so may not stand against this 1.5 VGT.

I guess fabia can not be sold above 6 lkh ex. showroom because of this launch.

Guys with this launch even the fabia would feel the heat. There is no doubt about the build quality it is going to deliver but it is coming out with a 1.4L 70-odd ps engine. Can it compete with the 110bhp getz?

How come it is just 45k, I think it is close to 1lac rupees costlier than the Swift VDI.

Ok guys, As per my source there is only one model launched as of now. The features are the same as the GVS model. Only addition is mandatory ABS. Rest remains same.

GVS ? If this is true , shame on hyundai.

How can this monster run with the 155/80 R13 tyres?

So items missing will be

Rear wiper
Fog lamps
Spoiler
Body color - handles , mirrors
Front driver armrest
