I think that's taking it too far. They dont mislead people about specifications etc of the car on sale. Just sitting in one, you can see the Octavia is a bit smaller than its (similarly priced) peers. If they still chose to buy it, its their prerogative. Now that the car is quite badly out of date, lowering its price is in line with what a lot of car companies have done (Hyundai with the accent for example).

The issue with the company isnt the specifications of the vehicle - its more to do with post sales service and attitude towards customers along with some gaps in the quality of dealers.

One of the largest polls yet on Team-BHP, as well as the fastest. Only goes to show what lengths we'll go to, to defend our right to freedom of expression. NO ONE dare try to threaten us.

Why this poll?

Sirs,

Not only Team-BHP, everyone Should stand up for its right to the freedom of speech? For the TRUTH? That should be everyone's wish right?

Did you expect 60% yes and 40% no? LOL!

I am sorry, Polls should be meaningful, not just to drag people's attention, not just to express feelings or to make a record.

Whoa, the wiki bit has got really really heated up!

And Skoda is still quiet, preferring to talk about a very lame Manish Malhotra shoot with some guy dressed as SuperMan with the Superb.

Oh well.

Apparently three people don't agree with you!

Benny

The poll was necessary at the time to highlight the fundamental rights that were under threat , and to find out our fellow members' views on it (instead of assuming it). So it was necessary to catch people's attention, capture/record their feelings, and most importantly - to send a message that we, the paying customers, deserve to be treated better.. way better than this!!

Therefore this poll IS very meaningful!

My `behnoi' ie, my wife's sister husband has a Skoda Octavia. Recently, my wife, her sisters (six in all) were in Jaipur from 1.4-4.4. See what happened to my behnoi's Octavia:

2.4.09: engine heating up and smoke coming. whole day wasted in Jaipur getting the problem corrected.
3.4.09: back in Delhi on 3.4. night. While removing the luggage, keys dropped in the boot, and closed. Car doors also locked.
Result, whole of 4.4.09 wasted in getting the car to open.

His whole attitude to Skoda is to sell it as soon as the free warranty and maintenance package expires (he is from Jalandhar).

Benny, by voting, each Team-BHP member has placed his name next to the vote. You can see the names by clicking on the number of voters. It can be compared to a signature campaign against Skoda.
