As per the sales guy the interiors would be refreshed. I hope atleast they start screwing the parts in a better way, just as Ritz maybe. The new brochures coming later this month (as per the sales guy).

Maruti Suzuki has been working on a new engine (codename Yp3) to replace Alto and Wagon R.

I am taking delivery of my Swift VXI - ABS K-Series on Feb 15. Can't take it next week due to busy schedule. The showroom personnel has said that they have already delivered about 5 cars with K series under the hood so far.

Will post my review after I receive it. 13 days to go !

Congrats. One speculation is about the interiors. I read couple of posts in the same thread which state that there are changes in Dashboard as well. When you booked the car, did you get a chance to check the interiors OR did sales guy give any information about the interiors? Please confirm.

V IMP: Please CHECK before taking delivery, and confirm that your Swift is indeed powered by the 1.2 K series. I know of a gentleman who bought an SX4 after the variable-valve tech version was launched. The dealer pushed old stock on him and he drove a car with the previous engine home. Unfortunately, he didn't realise until a month later.

Maybe the sales guy was using some "sales tactics". I just spoke to him over the phone.
