My 2001 Ford Ikon 1.6 ZXI with 58000 kilometres on the odo doesn't rattle one bit! Really proud of this little Josh machine! Driven around Bombay city and suburbs most of the time.

Joining the chorus. 2 Ford Ikons in my family; both 2002 models, done 1.7 lakh and 1.2 lakh kms; met with many minor frontal and side collisions yet not a single rattle.

The Fiesta Classic has minor rattling sounds when tyre pressure >32 psi.

Ecosport is fairly noiseless except for some dashboard plastic bits.

Why is Swift not included in this poll. I think Swift is the "King" when it comes to "not" rattling

On a serious note, a very old thread with so many cars here that are no longer relevant in the Indian Car Scene. Somebody please update this if it is to be kept relevant.

sold my 2004 pre-worshipped chevrolet optra 1.8 yesterday, it didn't rattle even a little after so many years!

I've had my Linea for two and a half years now with close to 22k on the odo. I agree its hardly anything. All I can say is the car has been rattle free from purchase date.

My previous car, a used nine year old Ford Ikon held up really well too.

I had Getz prime for 7 years with @56k on the odo Gem of a car. No rattles or major issues in this period.

However it also has to do with how well the service guys cater to your car and how much care you take of your car.

2007 Scorpio 88k Done. Zero rattles except the notorious centre row seats. The truck has been driven on every kind of road or no road imaginable. Excellent build quality.

I might surprise you a bit,but our 2,30,XXX kms done 14 year old M800 DX 5 Speed has absolutely no rattles(touchwood),whereas our 2 year old Ertiga ZXi already has squeaks coming from 2nd ROW AC and front and rear seats.

My 2011 jan volkswagen polo is holding up really well . There is not even a single squeak or rattle to be heard.
Squeaks have started developing in my 2013 march 28k run swift Zdi. The most prominent one is the parcel tray and the driver's seat ( 90% zdi owners have this issue)

3 years and 17k kms later, our WagonR has no rattles as of now (the build seems very flimsy). Our 13 year and 82k kms old M800 had developed some rattles towards the last couple of years.

So far, I am very impressed with the Etios and Liva.

Driven around on the terrible roads of Mumbai, they do a fantastic job!
Heck, our 1.5yr old Skoda Laura is already rattling, even after being driven around much more carefully!

My 2002 Hyundai Accent (1.5L petrol) done approx 77k still doesnt rattle a bit but due to Mumbai climate and a poor repaint job some years back she has developed quite a bit of rust :-( .

My Jetta DSG has done nearly 59000 kms over five years on our wonderfully smooth roads and perfect traffic conditions in Bombay, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Haryana, Goa, Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand with nary a rattle nor squeak.

I intend to drive from Bombay to the northeast some time in the not too distant future.

Sonata Embera 2.4 closing on 1,00,000 KM and cabin almost as quiet as a new car: Grand Vitara 55k and little rattle from lower arms and doors. Octavia vRS 70k except the door which requires setting, no rattle: Zen Mpi 78k and the car is a boom box without any speakers. The entire body seem to make noise.
