Couple of observation from the pics posted by Sid.

1) the black dials are gone, the Linea white background speedo console is there.

2) The red stickering on the bonnet is spoiling the clean looks of the car.

3) The odo already shows 965 kms. A little confusing

Sid bring it on, too much of suspense is not good for heart.

Waiting eagerly for Sid's TD report.
And I have seen the same stickers in the photos from carwale too. I sincerely hope that it is put only in some initial TD cars sent out by Fiat.

I am terribly confused now.

Sid has created a thread today : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...vgt-90-hp.html

Is the 90 hp Punto the Punto Sport ? Are the pictures above of the same car ?

I think i read somewhere in this thread by SidIndica that Punto Sport is not the same as Punto 90 hp.

Actually red pinstriping on white would look much better!

965 kms means i guess is a test drive/company test car.

To clear all confusions:
  • There is no punto "sport" coming immediately.
  • Both the cars (the one I drove and the one stickered are NORMAL punto e-pack 90 HP models.)
  • One car has TD decals, and the roof was painted black by the dealer.
  • Other car has stickers being fitted into the stock E-pack. This very same car will be thee for the launch on 16th. It will also get drilled aluminum pedals, spoiler and leather seat covers, which will also be part of the accessories.
  • I term it as a "sport appearance package".
  • The TD car covered 965 kms yet drove exeedingly well for a TD car.

Note from Mod : This thread is closed. Please continue the discussion over on SidIndica's excellent test report
