Hi HappyRoadie. Are you planning to buy a new car. The reason for asking is then you can try to trade in the safari with a new car and may get some benefits like exchange offers in addition to the quoted value of your car. That might help.

I tried to trade in my Safari, the dealership was quoting a ridiculously low price of 2L. After hearing their offer I thought its better to sell it outside only.

Is the sale urgent? If not, stick on to it till you get a reasonable price. You can try Cars 24 if available in your city.

Oh! That's truly a ridiculous offer. I guess you just be patient till the right customer comes calling. Try classifieds of team bhp, cars 24 and droom. Hopefully you will get a decent offer. Safari dicors aren't big on resale unfortunately these days.

How much would a used Petrol Creta be ? A cousin's friend is moving out of India and is selling his Creta. He is asking 13L ( possibly top end, and about a couple of years old).

I am not very keen, but just a thought ..

Assuming that the car is around 3 years old and run 25000 - 30000 KMS, anywhere between 9 to 10 lakhs would be a good price for the petrol Creta SX plus variant.

Thanks for the link GT3. My Fiesta was sold off a couple of days ago for a little over 4L. The vehicle had done 59k kms and 5 years old. Will definitely be missing the vehicle!

I think that's a great price. I Bought two Nano's in last one year.

One 2010 CX for 40 K
2017 September XTA with 7K on Odo FOR 230000.

Looking at a 2011 Honda City, Single Owner, Manual Transmission, done about 100,000 kms. Car seems to be in decent condition, with just some cosmetic stuff needing some looking into.

What would be a good price to quote for the same ?

I'm planning to exchange my Ertiga Lxi with company fitted CNG, September 2013 done 35k Kms. The quote given by dealers is around 4.5 Lakhs while I feel it should be around 5.2 Lakhs. The car is Mumbai Registered with Comprehensive Insurance and Zero Depreciation Policy. Is my expectation fair?
