I'm sure you can do better - I think the RS is cramping your natural style.

OK here's a question: If the Skoda does the track in x seconds, how much time do you think the Safari will take? 2x / 3x / 4x?

I heard NK did a 2'15 lap time at MMSC in an RS.

OK, you do the track in reverse gear and I'll do it using the 5 forward gears. Fair contest?

seems to me hrag in his safari using all 5 forward gears ( and also the 5th wheel if necaessary ) is targetting the record of 1 min 34 secs set by one mr martin o conell .

Guys, just a suggestion -- how about leaving on Saturday morning if some of us are free? Stay near the track Saturday night, since that will give us an extra session -- Saturday post lunch -- at the cost of a night's stay extra. It would make sense to extend our track time since we're driving all the way.

souns like a good idea , but too soon for me to confirm on that , but are there any "ok" places close by to the track for us to stay?

Yes, there are 2. One is Pleasant Days, a nice resort about 15 minutes from the track. The other is a newer place, about 5 minutes from the track. For details on the latter, we will have to wait for Nitrous.

Would have loved to dude but wont be able to. I've shifted to Pune now, so trackday's are almost non-existent till I return to Blore or Chennai for good.

Gonna miss the track and meeting you folks, but will make up for it sometime.
