Can we call it face lift?
For me it is Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V.

Let us put a final judgment after seeing the Car in whole

Let Fiat India put that interiors alone (even one from current euro models) by next Delhi Autoshow - Am I asking more?

Cheers!

Front end looks fussy and the interior doesn't look like it belongs in a Euro car. I love the interiors of the Punto sold here. Tail lamp looks okay.

URGENT MESSAGE TO FIAT INDIA MANAGEMENT: Just bring the interior and the engines to India and leave the exterior alone. Thanks

The front end is bad. Looks like an i10. Interiors are ok. I like the existing interiors and exteriors.
And as someone said, it surely wont come here soon. Maybe once the new swift is launched in 2010, then Fiat might consider this upgrade.

The current Punto looks so great that any facelift will be overshadowed. This one though leaves a lot more to be desired. Its forced..and not cohesive.A bit messy too.

Just saw this "facelift". But Fiat India being Fiat India, thankfully, this car can never see the light in India. Sometimes, it pays to be lazy, isn't it?

But, give us those engines. They look juicy. I do not like the interiors either.

I think the current punto owners would be much happier after looking at these pics.Sure, the currrent offing in India is better than what is shown in the pics..Placing the Grill below the Fiat Logo doesn't seem to be a good idea...

The design would have turned out much better if they had given up the mini grille on top. Not that the idea of a combination of grilles is bad, but the execution has not turned out like to our liking.

If ever there was anything called going retrograde in design, this is it. The present Punto stands out amongst the competition, this one, well it sinks below the lowest.

Fiat is known to be notoriously slow in bringing about updated models in India. Just take the case of Palio, till date its bereft of the changes carried out Internationally.
Going by the trend, changes to the Punto might come after a decade!

Oh my God!!! What is that? What is Fiat upto?

This design is surely the beginning of the end of the road for Fiat Punto. Did they take ques from TATA Winger or what?

I'm sure our Pathankar is going to chew this over an entire episode
Just noticed the brake. It reminded me of the ones found in Ashok Layland buses/trucks

This one has gone horribly wrong . The current punto doesn't need any facelift. It has a classic timeless design.
Even the dash design of current punto is far better than this.

Fortunately, this won't be coming to India anytime soon
