Grande Punto Facelift: From baby Maserati to Punto Evo EDIT: Punto 'My Life' on pg.7

Just found these snaps @ ::ITALIASPEED::

I think FIAT had messed up big time with their face-lift in an attempt to look more contemporary. Now it looks just like any other car.

It looks like an ugly version of Hyundai i10. Hope this one doesn't make it to India anytime soon.

The interiors look fresh though.

I haven't warmed up to the interiors. At the risk of being bashed, I feel they are looking more Korean then European. I know they have tried to incorporate more of Bravo in the Punto but the aircon vents and sound system are looking weird.

Yuck !!!! I dont think i have ever used it for a Fiat car till date! But this looks all weird! Front grille looks like kinetic design from Ford- looks too messy. Rear lights now spoil the sexy back.

The front sure doesnt look too hot. But will need to see the complete thing before passing judgement.

Actually baring a few touches it seems they have given it touches from the Alpha Mito which again is a disguised Punto.

Front though yes, looks i10ish

Do you have any full size pictures of the car.
Some of these designs grown on you. I am sure this will too.

Well it may grow on us like many designs do. But the difference is.

The current Punto design does not require any 'grow-in' period. For most, it's love at first sight. This one isn't.

Those who want a Punto, buy in the next few years, before this is launched

Ouch, that hurts! Especially after seeing the beautiful current-look Punto in person. But hey, I bet its going to be a looooooooong time before Fiat India even thinks of launching this facelift here (if at all).

EDIT : Maybe it will look a little better with colour matched front section. Still, best avoidable.
