Re: The 2013 Formula One Season

Slightly . Ex-Formula one drivers have been invited to race at Macau Grand Prix on November this year. This is in lieu of celebrating 60th anniversary this year. It will be good to see Stefan Johansson, Martin Donnelly, David Brabham, Emanuele Pirro, Julian Bailey and Nicola Larini racing at Macau on a Volkswagen Scirocco.

This is terrible news. Maria de Villota was found dead in an hotel room in Sevilla :(

Sad indeed. It was a miracle that she recovered from the previous accident last year :(

Re: The 2013 Formula One Season

musical chairs continues,

'Hulkenberg to Force India', Eddie Jordan, the man who brought us Schumi's return to F1, says Nico Hulkerberg will be heading to Force India - not Lotus - next season.

http://www.planetf1.com/driver/18227...o-Force-India-

Question is where is Paul or Sutil heading to next season?

Mercedes suspects Red Bull, Lotus F1 form down to Renault.

Mercedes suspects that clever engine mapping from Renault could be behind Red Bull and Lotus' recent upturn in performance in Formula 1.

Re: The 2013 Formula One Season - Indian Grand Prix

Folks, Can any one recommend few travel agents for a complete package for the Race Day with flight ticket from Bangalore.
I know this is a very late call and will cost me more but still want to try if any affordable options are available.
I have a quote from Via.com for me and my wife with total package cost approx to 55 K. This includes Onward flight from Bangalore at 6:35 on 27th morning and return on 28th at 6:25 again in the morning. This includes a 4 star accommodation at South Delhi, Breakfast, Airport transfer, Venue transfer, parking charges etc. There is one open question on the quote what I have asked is for which stand in the circuit is the ticket for?

Also now my mind is in a dilemma should I postpone this until next year Malaysian Grand Prix in late Mar 14? But then I will missing the roar of 2.4 litre V8

LOL, Hamilton is doing exactly what Schumi tried and failed at Mercedes, hence they want to blame everything they should not be concerned about

Mercedes GP have retained the graph of being consistently inconsistent since the last 4 seasons.

Re: The 2013 Formula One Season

The Japanese Grand Prix was one of the more exciting races of the season even though there wasn't a different winner I must say. That's sealed the season for ALO, On the bright side the next race, Our Indian Grand Prix will have the privilege for possibly crowning the World Champion : ).
I really look forward to the next season now. New Engines & with it levelled playing field & of course the fiery ALO & RAI pairing!.

On a side note, I've just thought of something. Next year I think I shall start an F1 Fantasy League for T-BHP members. Should be fun!

Force India worried about the financial hit,

Force India know they need to get out of their current slump if they don't want to suffer a major financial setback.

Awesome! Should be interesting.

Some ideas.. We can restrict each 'fantasy team' to have max 1 champion driver and 1 non-champion top team driver, say 2 mid field drivers and 2 from the lower end team or so, with points for all finishers and negatives for accidents, retirements and penalties. And teams should be locked before FP1

Does anyone know if we could carry mobile phones into the venue tomorrow? We read somewhere that mobiles are not allowed... Is that true!

Was watching the free practice and qualifying on TV and saw everyone in the all the stands, with their phones either clicking or talking.
