Its official! F1 goes HD from 2011.

Sky Germany confirmed the same today!

Does Star Sports/ESPN provide HD telecast?

They used to provide an upscaled version of F1 for their HD channel during last year. Hopefully, they should provide complete HD feed for this year.

In other news, BBC has fired Legard and brought in David Coulthard into the commentary team to support Martin Brundle.
When is Star Sports going to do the same to Steve Slater ?

I was actually talking about Star Sports HD. They do have an HD channel in India and they used to provide Upscaled HD telecast of the F1 races till last year. I hope they provide proper HD this year since Star Sports is owned by Murdoch too (alongwith Sky ) .
I am talking about Dish TV by the way, not sure if Star Sports HD is available for other DTH subscribers.

I usually download full races. I am exciting about downloading them in HD quality from BBC

Btw, Star Sports HD is not available in TataSky!

The funny thing is that Kolles says that after they fired Chandok due to not meeting his contractual obligations, he was never on HRT's radar. On the other hand, Chandok says HRT made him an offer and that he refused. Wonder who is telling the truth.

I do think it is a right call to drop Luizzi

If I was Mallya I would be jumping to sign up Hulkenberg and Heidfield.

Hulkenberg is the aggressive young blood and GP2 champ and Heidfield the experienced and still fast can provide invaluable feedback for testing.

di Resta is a touring car guy and not familiar with the type of car or the tracks. Sutil has made too many mistakes and missed one too many opportunities, plus he cannot be labeled young anymore.

Sutil was much better last year than in 2009. Force India failed to improve their car sufficiently in the second half od the season. Barrichello had said in the first half of the season that Force India were too far ahead of Williams. The fact that Williams managed to overtake them, indicates that it was an engineering failure in the second half of the season. Also indicated by the fact that Sutil was able to hold off Kubica with ease in the Spanish Grand Prix in the earlier part of the season, and did not allow him to overtake, while in the latter part of the season, Kubica overtook him with as much ease as overtaking a HRT.
Mallya letting James Key go was a blunder. as shown by the improvement in Sauber from mid-season at the cost of Force India.
To my mind, Sutil deserves a better car, rather than the car deserving a better driver.

Renault lotus official reveal 2011 livery photos on 2010 car

and best statement made by petrov till date was " out-qualifying Kubica was more satisfying than keeping alonso Behind"

and Renault has switched their official nationality of the team from French to British; courtesy Lotus
which means if they win a race the constructors anthem playing will be British not French
