Its fitted behind the ecu , top right hand corner of the engine bay (if you are facing the engine)

I had a roots horn fitted behind the front right foglamp but this was too big to go there

Guys I just lost the mesh around the left fog lamp after hitting a big stone ! Do I need to change the bumper or is there a workaround ?

^ check with the local TASS, they should be able to order that particular part alone but be prepared for a long wait

you can also try sending an email to jaimltr@yahoo.com. He posted on the palio yahoo user group and said that he is able to help source parts for fiat

Switched over to fully synthetic now. Car feels a lot, lot more smoother now. The older oil looked really dark inspite of it being just 2k kms old.

Kudos to Raghav @ Ignite Garage for the work done

brief 37.5k update , will post a proper update later

vehicle met with an accident in March and was stuck in body shop awaiting parts as usual and was retuned middle of April. Replaced - Front left fender, front left door and rear left door along with Misc plastics

other than that vehicle is going on with minor niggles , usual rattles etc. was suffering from a grinding feeling in brake pedal which went off after getting the pads and discs cleaned.

today got the oil changed after 17000 kms run , oil still looked semi-ok but the seal on the oil filter was getting weak I guess since there were oil stains all over it. Filled 0W-40 this time since that was the only one in stock at service center (Ignite Garage)

Picked up the oil filter at GP Road - they had elofic and Fiat oem Purolator (spelling?) so picked up the oem one. Couldnt find Bosch so will probably use this and replace it at after 7-8k kms.

Got my Fiat Palio Stile 1.6. EDIT : 58k done-odo.jpg

almost 40k update, got my 3rd set of tyres

Got my Fiat Palio Stile 1.6. EDIT : 58k done-10062010562.jpg

the michelins still had plenty of tread left in them but for some reason there was a severe lack of grip plus it became really trecherous driving them in the rains so decided to get them replaced. wondering if they have become hard from being left in the sun

Got my Fiat Palio Stile 1.6. EDIT : 58k done-front.jpg

Steering has become slightly heavier. there is a slight bit of play in the middle , it should get ok once tyres are run in. Grip through corners especially once they are warm is really good traction in wet is also quite good

^ Krish - he changed the OE set after taking delivery IIRC. Second set Michelins are still OK as per his post. Advans - 3rd set

waiting for a review of the tyres on a track day

wow advan's on a 1.1l 57bhp car :o , what do you need all that grip for thambi :P

he changed to michelins around 15k i guess, yeah those tyres were ok, and how will you wear out stones, roads were getting thinner because of that tyre lol, thats how those michelins felt when i drove his car.

PS: those look as good as new in the pic hehe

OE Tyres were changed after 11k due to some pulling issue on one tyre and Yea like I said the Michelins had lot of tread on them but hardly any grip. Car met with accident in March and was standing in the workshop directly in sun for 2 months , once I got the car back tyres had severely lost grip and was really horrible to drive especially in wet when it started skidding on damp patches of road at 50-60kmph

was actually looking to put 195 profile XM1 as replacement but was put off by the 4.7k price tag
