lets see if i can make it uncomplicated. initially was told no discount but extra warranty free .. since both me and dad were busy with work we had asked the car agent from kotak finance to do the booking and other stuff too and he was told that there was a 10k discount . but minus the warranty .. later on delivery paid up the 4.8k for wty

need to check up on terms though. someone said that it only covered engine though concorde didnt mention anything of that sort :(

hmm another post of mine wasnt approved so me posting again , my cars done 1500 kms and is up for first service.. vst motors close to my house says that they dont have spares and are not accepting palios till the 21st of june and there are already 5 palios in wait

concorde motors have 2 showrooms , one in ambattur and one one the east coast road.. east coast road one is not yet ready to accept fiats or so concorde dealer told me which leaves ambattur the only alternative.. not looking forward to going so far just for a service but have an appointment on monday morning. will post back and see how it goes

regarding mileage , i got slightly over 8 the first time with pure city driving and a/c on all the time. the second time i checked it was after a mix of 200kms in city and 100 on highway and i got 12. this was before 700kms so hoping the mileage would have improved now after 1k kms and after i give it for fist service

Actually when i saw the formula red one (1.6) inside the showroom, i liked it better than the black. (of course looks is purely personal).
If you like to be unique and like to be separated from the other black stiles (1.1) then the formula red 1.6 stile it is
Uhmm - no offense to uttamc and bottle and other black 1.6 stile owners - I think the car looks awesome (especially in the night).

Btw for the conveniences of newbies and others searching for another TD on the 1.6 stile, i've made an attempt - a slightly (!) long one - its at #93 (permalink)

That is a great car you have got. Let it relax for the first 2500 km and after that, the sky is the limit.
After this running in period, take it to a highway, find a straight smooth strech, take it to 70 kmph on the fourth gear and then downshift to third; press the accelerator and listen. Your life will be changed from then on.

yeah after my purchase i was wondering whether i should have looked at red but i'm someone who really isnt comfortable driving a red car.. looks a bit too flashy especially for a hatch and also was worried about it fading since my car stands in direct sunlight for about 5 hours a day

What about the Spoiler?

Hi! Bottles,

hey, couldn't see the spoiler....with the spoiler, the car would have been a killer..is it available at extra cost? If yes, how much extra?

Congrats on the Hot Hatch! Just remember, you are one of those choosen few to own this beauty known as Hot Hatch!

You will get anything between 9.5-10.5 in city with a/c on once you cross about 5000 kms. But if you want to enjoy the car...forget about the mileage!

Enjoy!

dunno exactly how much for spoiler but i remember last time sundaram said they would have to change the rear windscreen too to fit the spoiler..and personally prefer the car minus the spoiler.. am only missing the stone guard on the sides hehe
