Got my Fiat Palio Stile 1.6. EDIT : 58k done

just upgraded from a palio 1.2 nv love the extra grunt that the engine gives. the extra torque makes it a lot more drivable compared to the 1.2 . havent revved more than 3k rpm yet but for city driving running the engine between 2-3k rpm gives more than enough power. its a bit sluggish if the revs drop under 1k rpm while 2nd gear or above but guess thats expected.

the steering feels a bit diff from my old palio so will drive a bit before i give my verdict on it. gearbox seems a bit improved and things notch in smoothly. brakes still feel a bit spongy and could use a bit more bite but satisfactory none the less

noise levels are good too .. hardly get any road noise except for the high pitched auto engines :P

absolutely hate the interior. already looks like a mess. hope the dirt cleans off easy

Congrats dear,
Car is looking cool in black.

Get your brakes rectified on first service, I too felt the same(Sponge) when my car(Petra1.6) was new, Got it fixed in first service. Never felt the problem again.

A black beauty. Real nice. For black, they should have continued with the old dark interiors. Would look real sporty. BTW, are there any models that gives the option of both beige or dark (read sporty) interiors?

Congrats!

Hi,
Congrats for the new car. The new palio is damn sexy, especially the black color. You know I never liked black cars. Now, your car changed my mind. The car looks rock solid. They should have done some sprucing up of the interiors though.
