Thanks esteem_lover. This is my third car. Earlier cars were Santro (2001-2004) and Alto (2004-2007).

Saw a logan parked on the road leading inside Kaman, Rd #12, B Hills (H'bad). It looks smaller than the dimensions suggest, may be because of the shape or whatever.

Ashutosh, Good to know that Logan is serving you well!

Renault were F1 Champions last year for no simple reason, they make nice and reliable cars!

Pretty well-defined review with emphasis on its positive points. Apart from its low power, how is its ride and handling?

ride is pretty good! among the best around. Handling is fine...but not in the league of OHCs/Accents.

Not much of a problem. I drive a DLS but the top right hand part does not get cleaned. May be a problem for very tall guys. I am 6'3 and it is not a problem for me. So if you are above 6'3 its your call

Ashutosh - Any experience yet with the service guys at the ASC ? Was curious to get a feedback as both the Scorpio and the Logan are going to be looked after by the same crews and most of the M&M's ASC's are going in for larger space, better equipment etc to meet the Logan rush and the company wants to infuse the car culture in the ASC crews which till now has been a jeep culture !!! Though it has seen a marked change with the Scorpio's coming !

yes ashutosh, if you can give details on servicing, it will be helpful. and also costs or parts/service itself.

I went to see this car at the Mahindra showroom.
The first thing salesguy tells me "Boss people are not taking interest in this car - so if you are really really interested then go only for Diesel version". He added "but keep in mind that soon all diesel Logans will be taxis in Delhi"...
Suddenly all excitement of looking at a new car simply died..
I looked around a little .........went in and out of the car..... looked carefully at the lamps (my interest area).... and walked out even without taking the price list from him.

Dunno if that sales guy had any grudge from the showroom or he was in his notice period.
Your review puts the car in a positive light- I should also go and see it once more....
