Nice preferences karthi . But each one is having different prices. Its all up to your preferences . Check out HMP itself . Seems they are having White Getz D in stock.

Thank You kpzen . Your TestDrive of the Getz D gave me the idea to go for Getz. Does the engine cover look different from my car and the TD car you drove ?

Just now i spent Rs. 12000 on ICE . Cant spend immediately on tyres or alloys etc. Let me use the tyres completely .

May be they changed it . I thought may be its an old car stocked for long. I saw the tyres and the manufacturing date was April 2008 . May be the current cars come this way?

Congrats Undead! You have a very nice car! A beast if i may say so, though Getz's understated looks bely that statement!

Few comments!

a. Swift D - Waiting Period was 4 months here . Drove my friend's Swift and noticed that Rear leg room was not enough and i dont want my mom sitting at the rear feel uncomfortable during long journeys as she is old. Exactly! A very imp reason why i chose Getz over Swift

b. Palio D - Car wasnt launched at that time and the Showroom is 100 kms away from my house. Not sure of FIAT's A.S.S as my another had problems with it. Wasnt brave and confident enough to take that risk. Lets just say you are smart

On the Delivery Day :
I reached the HMP Chennai on Wednesday morning . My travel from my home town to Chennai was 8 hours (400Kms)by KPN Travels . Gave them the documents for registration at 10AM. Explained them that i need the vehicle before 4PM as i need to travel back to my home town which will take another 8 hours drive. They said they will give the vehicle before 4PM. I went for purchase of ICE . Called them at 3PM to check and they said the vehicle is ready and they are cleaning the car. I had lunch and went to the showroom at 3.45PM . Took the delivery at 4PM on the dot.

Have gotten four services done on my Getz. Have always recieved my car on time!

Some important points :
2. the NVH levels are very low. I could hear the tyre sound only which ofcourse will be reduced further after i change to Michelin XM1+.
Try this: GO for a night drive, windows rolled up, no music and listen to what you can hear!!

3. The driving comfort is good.
To be honest The driving positions is bad! Especially for people above 5 10 or so! Extended hands and crouhed legs, also no thigh supoort

5. The gear shift was smooth and there was a light tick sound while shifting and i liked it. Exactly!! That slight click is so addictive!

8. Build quality is good . No rattles.
Try this: GO for a night drive, windows rolled up, no music and listen to what you can hear!!

Overall :
I am REALLY satisfied with the vehicle. My experience with Hyundai Motor Plaza , Chennai was very good. Did i miss something ?? Feel free to ask .

Hey Guys,

Need Help !

My dad when drove the car sterday for the first time , was driving with the handbrake activated. After some 4 kms only i noticed . I got down and i can smell the heat from the brakes . And after few mins we got in the car and when i switched on the blower , hot air was coming for few sec . But after that it was normal .

Guys please tell me whether the brakes would have been damaged?

Dude,
Normally handbrake works on rear wheels and in your case - the car has drums. They would have weared a bit but nothing to worry. Please make sure next time it wont happen else you will have to replace the drums shortly.

I dont think brakes have anything to do with the blower.

But once i switched on the blower , hot air came which was new for me. The time was 9PM only , so if it was during noon , we can say due to hot sun .
