So for being a dampener here, but I just hope 'cashless warranty' does not translate to 'cheap work'!

But if you would have got the same score without the 'cashless warranty' stuff, then it is good.

Hope so

Btw, its partly mistake on my part too. I never worried to even ask what was done for the vehicle and just took delivery.

Good that I tried to update this in forum and had a look on the price.

Lets see whats the experiance from other Aveo owners.

There is something fishy in the whole thing.
Either they are only topping up which is bad.
Or since it is anyway cashless, probably they are under invoicing to save on taxes which is wrong.
Or is this only the labor cost?

Wonder how the dealers are being reimbursed in the cashless maintenance schemes?

I talked with my friend in GM today. As per him, GM has clear instruction of not to top up Engine oil in any of the service station.

He said it should not be actual engine oil cost, but just some portion. Not sure of what. Planning to call those guys or meet them on Monday.

Will keep you updated.

ok, just got a SMS informing about the new GM Service center.

M/S Frontline Automobiles,
36/2A, Paattanagare Main road,
off Mysore road, Bang 59.

About the engine oil - Its capacity is 3.75 lts. So, 4 qty should be for 4 lts each lts of less than 200rs.

Oh, this seems to be diff. Which service was this? Are you in cashless program? Or you paid for this?

Ok they do have a different rate for Cashless programs and paid service. Interesting. Yes, even I have not done the tyre rotation, no one said anything about it :(

Lol, I guess it pays to read the manual. I had read it again just the night before I took it for service hence knew about it.
Even the *** guys didnt know about tyre rotation, so i guess they dont do it normally.
But i insisted as its recommended and they obliged gracefully. I wasnt charged for it, it was done as a part of CPCO package. Otherwise i believe the charges for Tyre rotation is about 100 bucks

It's just 500 mts away from my Mysore road, Global Village office. Behind RV Engg College. Opened up some time back. Saw some GM cars being serviced there.

Yes. And they service only Chevy brands. Not all GM. So, opel cars should still depend on Sundaram.

It seems its done for every 15K KMs. The Cashless owndership book has 3 coupon for this. So, basically its free up to 3 service.

So, here is the update for the 10000Kms.

I clocked 10KMs in 8months, which is a very big change to my previous ownership. 8K KMs in 3.5 years. Thanks to Team-BHP

Since Vijay is closed, I went to Sundaram Motors to get my car serviced. I had no issues to mention, but the interior cleaning could have been better.

One stupid 2 wheeler broke my front bumper while waiting in Nagavara Signal on 26th Jan. I was on my way to drop my friend in Airport after the Mysore trip. It was fixed, but not so perfect. Because it needs full bumper replacement

Finally here comes my Aveo 1.4 LS Limited edition EDIT: 52000 KMs Update-img_07581.jpg

This service, no repalcement is needed, except for the Airfilter. And that also will be replaced only if neccesary.

And back to vehicle performance, a comfortable car for family. Behaved very well in this recent trip to Mysore through Talakad roads. One thing, either the govt should stick to some decent norms for speed breakers, or pass a law saying no car should come with less than atleast 200+mm of GC.

This car inspite of the 185mm GC, had some scraps in those roads and some speed breakers in the KRS roads. Yes, the car was fully loaded with 4 adults and 3 kids + 2 families luggages.

Regarding FE, I consistantly get 14kmpl. Infact during this recent trips to mysore on no roads too, I got the same 14kmpl.

The best I liked in this is, so far there is no rattling even in those talakad routes. Hope it stays as this during the rest of the ownership.

14kmpl is very good figure! Does it have anything to do with your driving style? How is your style?

That bumper looks bad! As you said, a replacement is better. Hope you gave a piece of your mind to that biker!
