Oh yes, you are not alone for sure
The color combination/styling is real bad. Don't know why people mess up cars like this .
I different color in the side/rear skirts might have given a i20 an uber kool look .
Cheers

If memory serves me right, these topless nanos were built by Tata Motors itself. We even have a thread about it here.

saw this over the internet.
Figured alot. But couldn't guess as to what did the owner "ACTUALLY" wanted to do with "WHATEVER" he has?

^This one just nails it! Who in their right minds would do such a thing? This has to be THE WORST thing (dunno what to call it now) on this thread.

The owner / tuner just had to use the right color combination! I infact liked the mods bit by bit, especially the custom paint. But wrong choice of colors!

I pity the poor indica who had to go through this torture. I also pity the poor jeep who had to go through plastic surgery and get someone else's face plastered on it Is that a Willy's jeep? Through the grille I thought I could make out "Willy's" written above the original jeep grille. But then I may be wrong also. If it's a Willys jeep, then too bad. He could have restored it and made it like new

If one has noticed the three alphabets emblazoned on the windshield - thats exactly what the owner has made of this Indica.

Yep, right color combination might have been at least tolerable. Such things may look better on other cars but i20 in itself is best looking hatch IMO.

Keep seeing this work of art during the day sometimes. Driven by a real elderly gentleman. The engine's diesel, sounds like the old Indica engine.

For everyone's info, it's a premier padmini mated with a maruti 800.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

That looks absolutely hideous. Looks like a M800 decided to rear end the PP and decided to stay put.
However, the execution of the mod looks very good, the roof extends without any visible joints.
