Hello Behram, Your name sounds familiar after having read the begining of this thread. Do you know Ramesh Nichani????
Nope I Don't think this was Harshit. TThey were a Father and two sons related to Sabira Merchant. They had a 1949 Chevy. Later these Fiats. All three are no more now. One son was named Mozzi. yep I have the intke manifold and the airfilter too.

Guys I have been looking for my dad's Fiat padmini which was partly modified by and then sold back in the 90's.
It had a 1.8 isuzu engine, alpina rims, custom dash to replicate the W123, electric bucket seats, fabricated widebody, spoiler fabricated into the bootlid, side exhausts.
The registration of the car was WMF 2525 and was sold in Delhi.
Does anyone happen to know the where abouts of the car?

Modded Padmini in Trichy

Hi, attached are the pictures of a modded Padmini which I came across in Trichy. The car belongs to the owner of Aircon AC service centre at Karumandapam. Took some pics with his permission. He has also plonked in 1.5 Lit Toyota engine into it.
Totally spent 3.25 lakhs on it, he said.

Still remember my dad's Fiat 1100D-bought it second-hand in '97-'98.Had it stock for almost a year and then decided to spice it up.
No external mods except widening the front-wheel arches to accomodate the 13" alloys-5 pointed star design-painted silver.(Rs.500 an alloy! from a friend who imported them for his Jeep, then realised it didn't fit!)
Car color-Neptune Blue.
Bucket seats.
Custom made roof lining with interior lights.
Column shift changed to floor shift.
FFE from Panchal Motors,Bombay.

I learnt to drive in the Fiat-remember shifting gears from 2nd to 3rd and the exhaust screaming for more.phew.One heck of a car.

Unfortunately had to sell it in 2001 to accomodate a Santro.Heard the guy who bought the car removed the FFE and parked the car in the sun-no cover.Saw her only once after being sold-I had tears in my eyes looking at the sad state she was in.Vowed to buy back the car and gift it to my Dad once I had enough money.God knows where she is and in what state-that's if she hasn't been scrapped by now.

MDS 3939-if anyone has any information or seen the car-pls forward the info.Found one pic of the car's rear.

Hi Chargerman, great looking car. Where in Bangalore did you get the body work done and how much did it cost ?

After looking at your car, thinking of kickstarting something on the same lines...

That aircon`s white fiat looks cool man. I think the money is well spent. But if he spent that much, he should have got power windows too.
