So my performance mod options are opening up too.
I will surely look at the Sprint booster to improve city drivability.

Finally its about time

But the Sprint booster is not gonna improve any numbers, It will just make the car more responsive when you press the accelerator.

That will be a good thing for city drivability. 200 bhp will be unusable in the city all the time. However this looks good for city drivability.

By the way , Manan , Time hasnt come yet.
Only noting my options.
My performance would cost me atleast 70-80k INR.

Hi Guys,
I have just installed an OEM MDI Kit(Media In) for full Ipod integration to my Laura's Colombus head Unit.It gives you full control of the Ipod from the touchscreen as well as steering wheel controls.
The Media Device Interface (MDI) offers support for USB devices (memory sticks and hard drives), iPod integration and Aux In along with displaying ID3 tags over the CANbus to the MFD.
Also added is a Rear View Camera to the colombus & a Garmin GPS 865T with MapMy India Maps.
Pictures coming up soon.

I am a little late to this thread, but the first thing I noticed was the "Rostering B777" entry in your phonebook. I take it you fly the 777 for AI?

I hate you

To all the Skoda Gurus here esp. Akshat and Sandeep
Guys, can i install a similar touchscreen HU on the new Facelift Laura Elegance A/T?
I mean, it currently has a normal Swing system, do i need to add any wires or is it just a replacement? BTW touchscreen system is available on the L&K.
Any info on this will be accepted gratefully!
Cheers!

Guys I need some advise on lowering my car as well as sprint boosters. I am in UK currently and have access to the springs and the boosters, but I have some doubts.

1. What do I need to buy for lowering the car ? Will 35 mm be too much ?. I have 17" shod on 225/45 R17.

2. What is B6 Blistein suspension kit - Do I need to buy that as well?.

3. I am planning to add a Box/remap and will spring boosters cause problems because of stress on Turbo ?.

Any advise would be really helpful.

Sorry for late reply

As it is, the Laura is pretty high. It looks like an SUV when i park my vRS next to one. I would look at maybe UK stock springs. anything lower would not be suitable on our roads.

Suspension - I get mixed reports on the B^ some people say great on track but day to day with our road conditions, ride is tiresome. My recommendation is maybe look at UK springs + get the front top and bottom suspension braces. Look at Awesome GTI - VAG Performance and Accessories. Their prices are good.

If you are returning via TR - you could look at bring better brake pads also.

You could look at a remap but also look at what superchips have to offer. This months UK CAR tested a Passat CRD 140 remapped to 180 and were raving about it

Sorry, was writing quickly. TR is not the issue. The brake pads etc weigh a lot as normal baggage
