The best thing to do is to keep the car clean (I clean it every sunday) and to roll down all the windows as you drive every once in a while, particularly if it gets windy. I have used Ambi pure, but if the car takes a hard bump, it falls off the a/c vent and one has to grope under the seat to find the regulator and the bottle, which invariably separate. In the process, I have more than once got a strong smell of the perfume on my fingers which does not go away all day.

Ambipur defenitely. available even in foodworlds! any perfume will make your nose dump after constant use. But it will feel good for strangers who enter our cars.

Dude,
Stop doing this, napthalen is not good for lungs in long term, it reduces breathing capacity of lungs.

Another thread revived by giving advice to someone who asked a question in 2005, lol. Well done boys.

Moral Fibroid, stop smoking in your car. It's a dirty habit. Step out, smoke and step back in with a breathmint in your mouth.
Except for goa, goa is allowed.

The best thing, I have found, to get rid of the smell is a carpet deodorizer.
I used to use it when in the US. You can get is cheap at a dollar shop for
1$. Spray it on the carpet on the floor of the car (not on the rubber mat if you have one). However I don't know if it's available here & how much it
costs.

I am not a big fan of anti-bacterials. Every product nowadays contains
antibacterials. I think we are going overboard with bacteria. There is a
lot of good bacteria which is very useful. For eg. killing bacteria will cause
fungal growth. I avoid anti-bacterials whenever I can.
